We asked our book community on Instagram to tell us which book they are highly anticipating next year. With so many releases to look forward to, here are some of the ones they are the most excited for!

1. The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley

What it's about: Honestly, if you binged Only Murders in the Building, then this book sounds like it may be right up your alley. Jess arrives in Paris in need of a fresh start. She's visiting her brother Ben, but when she shows up to Ben's very nice apartment, he's not there. The longer Ben is missing, the more Jess digs for information. But his neighbor's aren't exactly forthcoming — or friendly. And the longer he stays missing, the more questions Jess has.

When Nora's sister insists on taking a trip to Sunshine Falls, North Carolina, where she wills Nora to find herself as the heroine in her own story. Instead, Nora finds Charlie. They've met before, and it hasn't been pleasant. But in this new environment, maybe they'd be willing to lower their walls.

In this series opener, we follow a girl named Poppy, who lives life in a certain solitude as she waits for the day of her Ascension. But when a guard assigned to ensure her Ascension enters the picture, destiny and duty become tangled with desire and need. And if that wasn't complicated enough, a fallen kingdom is rising, determined to take back what they believe is theirs through violence and vengeance.
