Surely you guys know Joe Jonas of Jonas Brothers fame? And you might recall AJ Michalka — rad rocker chick from the band Aly & AJ?
I don't know about you, but I was a MASSIVE fan of both groups back in the late '00s, and literally *today* I just discovered this theory that YouTuber Elle Mills tweeted:
ok so you’re telling me that i went 13 years not knowing that one of the greatest songs ever written was about joE JONAS THIS ENTIRE TIME

It is a BOP and you cannot deny it.
Now, there's nothing really ~out there~ that confirms this is true, but there is a lot of evidence. Allow me to continue.
The first line in the song goes "It took too long for you to call back / And normally I would just forget that / Except for the fact it was my birthday." AND I GUESS AJ confirmed in a Reddit thread that, when she was 16 years old, she mailed Joe a piece of her birthday cake to make him feel bad.
Other Twitter users were quick to point out that this wasn't the only song that was inspired by Joe Jonas...

Anyway, I know it's just a theory, but there's definitely a chance the song is POSSIBLY about him, as evidenced by this Tumblr blog. But I must say...I for one am SHOCKED to learn they dated in the first place.
