Using Science To Analyze Oprah's Insane Audience Reactions Is Hilarious

Apparently when you give someone a car, it triggers a lot more than happiness.

Microsoft has launched a very cool tool that will tell you what emotion a person is experiencing based on a picture of their face.

Let's try it out on Oprah's audience during her "Favorite Things" episodes.

Based on the analysis of the tool, this man is surprised by something Oprah said. That makes a lot of sense.

This lady, according to the tool, is experiencing a good deal of anger. The woman behind her is sad. :(

Here we see a classic combination of a lot of surprise with a strong hint of disgust lurking just below the surface.

This lady is insanely happy. Oprah can do that to you.

The tool has determined that this person is mostly neutral, but beneath that calm veneer is an underlying well of sadness.

And this man is literally off the charts for sadness. Oprah has basically broken him.

Same with this lady. She is very, very, very sad indeed. It's pretty heartbreaking.

    Surprised, obvs.

Unfortunately, the tool was unable to find a match for this Oprah audience member's emotional state, so we will just have to speculate on our own.
