    But I'm An Actress!

As an independent film director, I am no stranger to trying to raise funds for my projects. I am proud of what I have done in my first two movies and my third, another short, is heading in the direction of being the best yet.

One of the most important things I am doing is paying my team for the time and talent both behind and in front of the camera. Too often artists, actors and crew are expected to work for free. I am creating jobs. Kanye is getting donations to get out of debt. I providing with people the opportunity to work and hopefully, they will keep themselves of out debt!

This movie also deals with issues of self-esteem and self-acceptance. Our short film "But I'm An Actress" is a comedy short that tackles an important underlying issue about how we perceive ourselves and others and how our society holds onto misguided perceptions on physical appearance.

Both girls and boys struggle with body image. Yes, we need to be healthy. But that goal should be to be the healthiest we can be; not to have a body like Henry Cavill (Batman V Superman) or a supermodel. But everything in media reminds or tells us that perfection on the pages of magazines and on our screen is the image of perfection.

Help us get the word out that who you are is powerful. Because you are.
