eviet4c8ae06b0 commented on We Wanna Hear Your Coronavirus Wedding Story

All the doctors thought I had COVID, but it turned out to be anaphylaxis from a bad spider bite I got at home. I was out of work for a week, could hardly walk or breathe, the whole thing. It scared us so badly (plus we realized catching COVID could realistically be much worse), we…

What’s the balance between not traveling, thus making tourist towns’ financial recovery more difficult, or flooding those communities with strangers who could be bringing the virus in?

Laura Linney and Kathryn Hahn. Even looking at them at the same time it’s hard to tell them apart.

eviet4c8ae06b0 commented on What's The Worst Financial Decision You've Ever Made?

I took a “temporary” job after college, rather than going right into what I should have been doing. Stayed for two years and was living off of credit cards because my pay was so low, but I was too broke to move two states away to live with my parents. I grew a lot as a person, but…

eviet4c8ae06b0 commented on What's The Most Scandalous Old-School Celebrity Story That Blows Your Mind?

In 1935 Loretta Young was in her early 20s and had an affair with Clark Gable who was in his mid-30s and married. Loretta went to Europe throughout her pregnancy and to have the baby, then essentially put her baby in foster care for a year and a half until she “adopted” her.

eviet4c8ae06b0 commented on What's The Creepiest Movie Moment From Your Childhood?

In Little Monsters (1989), the monster is talking about boobs, and calling bras "over the shoulder boulder holders." To this day it completely freaks me out. I think because it was a grown man talking to a small child about his mom's boobs. That movie is an absolute shitshow.

eviet4c8ae06b0 commented on Tell Us What It's Like To Have PCOS

All of the symptoms are things people are quick to give an answer for, and they are all things that are societally seen as unacceptable for women. PCOS causes male-pattern baldness while causing excessive hair growth in other places, can leave your hair greasy and your nails brittle,…

eviet4c8ae06b0 commented on What Fact About Serial Killers Freaks You Out The Most?

Virtually everyone in Ted Bundy's life thought he was a perfect match for the sketch and description, and even a few turned his name in, but even those people completely could not believe it was him. The police asked for a man Bundy's age, driving Bundy's car, who looked exactly like…

eviet4c8ae06b0 commented on What Beauty Products Should You Be Using In Your Early Twenties?

Mac's Prep + Prime primer. I finally grew out of having acne all the time, but my skin is still really oily. It helps me wear a thinner foundation because it doesn't have to outlast my slick face. I just ran out of my first bottle which lasted for two years, so $30 for primer really…
