What Romantic Comedies Have Actually Aged Well?

Time hasn't been kind to many of these movies, but there are a select few that are golden.

Rom-coms are amazing, but let's face it: A few of them haven't aged terrifically well.

Whether it's because of misogynistic portrayals of women, overdone clichés, or underrepresentation of people who aren't straight, cisgender, white, and conventionally attractive, some of the most well-known rom-coms haven't exactly aged well.

But sometimes you get something like When Harry Met Sally, a movie that's just as good now as it was 30 years ago.

The diner scene? Eternally iconic.

Or The Best Man Holiday, which depicted a love triangle without resorting to degrading clichés.

The love triangle involving Taye Diggs, Sanaa Lathan, and Nia Long was so well done that it's been 20 years and I still can't make up my mind.

Maybe you didn't like how What's Your Number? treated Anna Faris's character, but you thought the Bridget Jones series did a better job of turning the "hot mess" stereotype on its head.
