9 Scenes From "The Twilight Saga" That Are Genuinely Terrifying And 8 That Are Unintentionally Hilarious

No, animatronic Renesmee is not on this list.

The Twilight Saga ruled our lives from 2008 to 2012, for better or worse. And it had its fair share of unintentionally hilarious moments.

But if you think about it, there are also a lot of moments that feel like they belong in a horror movie. So here is a list of both the most accidentally funny and genuinely frightening moments of The Twilight Saga.

🚨🚨SPOILER WARNING: If you've managed to never see any of The Twilight Saga and wish to remain unspoiled, this is not the place for you.

    1. The final fight between the Cullens and James in Twilight was something out of a nightmare.

    2. But, "You better hold on tight, spider monkey," remains one of the funniest, most absurd lines ever captured on film.

    3. The fight at the end of Breaking Dawn – Part 2 was INTENSE.

    4. But the iconic baseball scene in Twilight was full of hilarious moments and honestly kinda corny.

    5. Bella's depression after Edward left her in New Moon wasn't necessarily scary, but it was certainly brutal to see.

    6. But their trashed honeymoon suite in Breaking Dawn – Part 1 was hilarious.

    7. Laurent's scene with Bella in New Moon was CREEPY.

    8. But, "You nicknamed my daughter after the Loch Ness Monster?" was never going to threaten anybody.

    9. Bree's death at the end of Eclipse was the most upsetting part of that movie.

    10. But I don't see how anybody could keep a straight face watching Edward show his glowing skin to Bella in Twilight.

    11. The Volturi killing people off-screen at the end of New Moon was surprisingly scary for a movie that wasn't actually horror.

    12. Edward's hilariously dramatic reaction to seeing/smelling Bella for the first time in Twilight has to be the worst meet-cute in history.

    13. Rosalie's story of how she became a vampire, told via flashback in Eclipse, was incredibly upsetting.

    14. But Jacob and Edward's tent conversation about Bella's future was upsetting while also being hilarious.

    15. Bella's whole pregnancy was hard to watch, and the scene in which she willingly drank human blood in Breaking Dawn –Part 1 was gory and gross.

    16. But her vampire transformation took things a little too far in the name of making her "beautiful."

    17. And finally, the scene of Bella giving birth in Breaking Dawn: Part 1 is genuinely one of the most upsetting things I have ever seen in a theater.
