6 months ago, rumors began to swirl of a colaboration between Rage Against the Machine vocalist, Zack de la Rocha, and East Coast flow icon, El-P, after this Instagram photo surfaced online.

Featured on the third single off of the soon-to-be-realesed album RTJ2 by Run The Jewels (a duo made up of El-P himself and Atlanta's Killer Mike), Zack de la Rocha comes out swinging with his signature pissed off attitude and a flow as sharp as shrapnel.

Entitled "Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck)"...

Zack de la Rocha spits the fiery chorus and finishes the song with a verse that includes militant lines such as "My battle status is burnin' matches from Dallas to Malibu" & "Dump cases with face and the cop pleas when we seizing a pump." The Rage Against the Machine spitter also gives a shoutout to Rakim ("Ripped like Rakim Allah, feds is checkin' my melody") as well as a the late political author, Philip K. Dick ("Done dyin', Phillip AK Dickin' you").

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!

Tom Morello / Via soundcloud.com

Rage Against the Machine guitarist, Tom Morello, took up arms with those demonstrating against the rampant police violence in a heavy new track titled "Marching on Ferguson." The bluesy riff pays tribute to the protest songs of years before while Morello's signature shredding lends a modernly violent feel.
