Munich International Airport

A title of being one of the most innovative and the second largest airport in Germany is binding. It simply cannot be boring up there. The experience cannot be just like at any other airports.

What can make a Bavarian airport unique? Beer, obviously. This is the only airport in the world to have its own brewery. It also contains the world’s biggest roof beer garden - Airbräu Biergarten. The passengers can taste several freshly brewed beers: Mayday, Jetstream and Kumulus, which are served with pretzels or sausages. Surely, this is not suitable for everyone. Individuals that would prefer rather a spiritual experience can visit an art gallery, see monumental aircrafts or take a tour around the airport while waiting for their plane to depart. And this is just the beginning of the attractions at this airport. There are retails stores selling traditional Bavarian sweets. There is also Audi’s exhibition salon, an observation deck and a casino. Additionally, one can surf in a specially designed pool or – during winter – ice-skate.
