Remember the Kardashian sisters' great pineapple challenge of 2013?

2. Raw Cashews

Raw nuts — cashews in particular — are high in zinc, an essential mineral with anti-fungal, antimicrobial, and antibacterial properties. Perfect for keeping things fresh post dirty deed. And bonus: cashews are also high in magnesium, another powerhouse element that eliminates body odor.

5. Celery

For the ladies, this veg is high in androsterone — a hormone naturally produced in males — that stimulates sexual arousal in females. (Note: studies remain unclear if there are high enough levels in single servings of celery to stimulate a reaction.)

6. Wheatgrass

Remember that "Sex and the City" episode in which Samantha Jones tackles the problem of funky spunk? She may not have succeeded, but wheatgrass is still the recommended choice for sweetening the taste. It's the chlorophyll that works as the internal body deodorant — so other green juices should also do the trick.

Samantha: "Maybe there's something he can eat to make it sweeter?"

Carrie: "Maybe you should write to Martha Stewart."

Miranda: "Dear Martha, funky spunk. Help."

Carrie: "Dear Funky Spunk, try... a hint of mint."

8. Lobster

Lobsters (and other crustaceans) are high in L-tryptophan, which metabolizes into serotonin, a mood booster. Reactions aren't immediate so try to get some into yourself and your chosen partner a couple meals in advance.

9. Ginger

Ginger is eastern medicine's wonder food and is believed to improve circulation throughout the body and into the nether regions. It can also settle and soothe the stomach — perfect for those pre-coitus jitters.

10. Chia Seeds

Chia seeds are having a moment as the superfood to eat. Even Dr. Oz says these seeds "will change your life." Well, why not start with your sex life? Chia seeds boost stamina and hydration giving you the endurance to last.
