We're so loving our girl Mindy Kaling's new bob that she recently debuted on the Gram.
It's way too cute and right on time for summer!
Her hairstylist Chris Naselli tells BuzzFeed Life the chop was all Mindy's idea.
"Mindy called me a few weeks ago and said, 'Hey! What are you doing next Thursday?', followed quickly by, 'I want to cut all my hair off. Will you do it?'", Chris says. "Mindy is so adventuresome with style. The change instantly felt right – a young, flirty, sexy summer look. It's a great shape that fits her so perfectly."
Chris says Mindy's new 'do works best on fine to medium hair and shares the key to getting her look.
"Framing the face is really critical: Make sure your stylist keeps the length that finishes just about one to one and a half inches below the chin," he tells BuzzFeed Life. "Keep the ends blunt with a deconstructed interior for texture and movement."
Chris also advises investing in a good flat and curling iron. His favorite flat iron is the T3 SinglePass X 1.5, and he says the ghd Curve Classic Wave Wand is great for curling.
