It's Impossible Not To Dance To "Friend Like Me" From The New "Aladdin" Musical

I dare you to stay still. BuzzFeed premieres the Genie's showstopper, plus a new Aladdin and Jasmine duet, "A Million Miles Away," from the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Aladdin.

Tony nominee James Monroe Iglehart brings the Genie to life in the new Broadway production of Aladdin, and his seven-and-a-half minute "Friend Like Me" is easily this season's best production number, and a jaw-dropping athletic feat.

Ever since Robin Williams voiced the Genie in Aladdin 22 years ago, "Friend Like Me" has been an iconic Disney number.

Get your dancing shoes on because BuzzFeed is premiering Iglehart's genre-busting version, which goes from jazz to salsa to country and musical theater and back again – and also pays tribute to other Disney musical gems.

The song is performed by Iglehart, Adam Jacobs (Aladdin) and the show's ensemble.

Among the new songs featured in the musical is the beautiful Aladdin and Jasmine ballad "A Million Miles Away," performed by Jacobs and Courtney Reed (Jasmine).

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Aladdin will be available digitally on May 27 and in stores June 17. Aladdin is on Broadway now at the New Amsterdam Theatre.
