These Towels From Target Are The Best Towels In The World And I Will Not Hear Otherwise

Seriously, is there anything Target can't do?

Well. That was all until I discovered the Best Towel Ever™, a towel gifted to me by my dear ol' mom (because, duh, moms always know what's best) that seriously changed the bath-linen game: the Fieldcrest bath sheet from Target.

Honestly, these towels are the only ones I ever want in my bathroom from here on out. First off, let's talk about the size of these bad boys. The bath sheet (aka the biggest one of the four sizes available) is 65x33 inches — at nearly 5.5 feet long, this is no puny towel, my friends. Really, is there anything more comforting than enveloping yourself in a giant-ass towel after a nice, hot shower?

Secondly, they are ridiculously soft, thick, and luxurious feeling — I look forward to wrapping myself in one after I shower as much as I look forward to the shower itself — and they're also a great value (the bath sheet is $19.99) considering their quality. I've had these towels for over two years now, and they've held up with no issue after regular use and continue to be as plush and absorbent as ever.

(Plus, the fabric and dyes are free of harmful levels of tons of harsh chemicals. The description says they're "Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX certified," and I have no idea what that means but it sounds legit!)

I know you can't feel this top-notch towel through your screen, but trust me on this one. Or perhaps trust the nearly 1,000 reviews that have given them an impressive 4.5-star rating:

"I am a self-admitted Towel Snob. I like a towel to be absorbent — its designated purpose — soft, and fluffy. These have been through the wash three times and they get SOFTER each time! They are just the right size and weight — not too big and heavy like some luxury towels, they have the same thickness on both sides, unlike some towels that have big loops on one side and tiny ones on the other side, and they just feel good against your skin. Love 'em!" —J. Ladd

"We've had these towels for about four years now. The size is perfect for wrapping my waist-long hair in and for my thick 5'10" husband. The best part about these towels is I feel like they get softer over time! I always make sure to wash in warm water and dry on low heat. How you wash it really determines how fluffy they are. I thought air-drying it would make them last longer, but that just makes them crispy (is that obvious? I didn't think so). Be sure to just follow washing instructions and they will feel like heaven for a long time!" —Ashley

"These towels are fluffy and the weathered gray is beautiful. I thought I would mix these in with some older towels of a different brand, but when I stacked them side by side, the Fieldcrest towels were twice as thick and made my older towels look terrible. I will be buying more of these." —Mom2twinboys

These towels don't shed in the wash (as many reviewers can back me up on), and there's been nary a pull in sight, even after years of use.

I just...can't get over how perfect these towels are and never knew I could have SO MANY feelings about one, okay?? (*turns head to side and sheds a tiny, towel-shaped tear*)

And bonus: If you happen to be on a Target shopping spree and are looking for a place to store all your fancy new plush towels, may I suggest this impossibly adorable one-door cabinet (which I also own and love)?
