Considering Taylor Swift has been flying under the radar the past year, she sure made up for lost time.
The pop star is about to take over the world, or at Spotify at least. And whether you have an overwhelming amount of love for this woman or despise her with every fiber of your being, you’re definitely talking about her this week.
Swift debuted the music video for her new single “Look What You Made Me Do” at the 2017 VMAs and it’s fierce. The video begins with a grave stone engraved with “Taylor Swift’s Reputation” and Swift crawling out of the ground as a zombie.
The old Swift dead and it’s doubtful that she really cares what the world thinks of her anymore. But she’s clearly doing well for herself. Her single streamed over 10.1 million times on Spotify in just the first day it was released meaning that the star had the biggest streaming day for a single song in the history of Spotify.
Swift’s music video has also been viewed a ton coming in with over 28 million clicks in less than 24 hours after in premiered. So basically, the girl is just climbing charts, throwing shade and breaking records all over the place.
The rest of Swift’s new album, Reputation, will be released on November 10.
