Promising review: "They work very well. Just wait a few days and you'll see them collect more bugs than you even though you could have had! They're WICKED sticky. Any lil' bug that lands on it will certainly perish. Heck, you could probably stick a fish to it and it wouldn't leave." —Customer

Promising review: "Perfect for safeguarding the CDC COVID-19 Vaccine card. Just HATE that the CDC didn’t produce wallet-sized cards to begin with. The plastic and the zip lock are sturdy and can be attached to a lanyard. It’s definitely sized correctly for the CDC card. I pass these out to family and friends when they get their dose of vaccine. It’s necessary to protect the low quality cards with your vaccine batch number stickers." —B.

    5. A bottle of wood polish that'll instantly make your scuffed up doors, hardwood floors, and furniture look so spanking new that it'll feel like you stuck it all into a time machine.

Promising review: "This stuff works like MAGIC. My wife and I were getting tired of looking at our worn out cabinets and wood paneling and were very close to paying a professional thousands of dollars to refinish it all, but then we came across this product. Our paneling and cabinets were looking rough. We have two dogs who jumped up and scratched places, we also had an area that was damaged by water spots where our dog bowls were, and several other areas that were just worn from heavy traffic. Take a look at the pictures to see the before and afters. This stuff was like a Magic Eraser for water spots, scratches, scuffs, and any other blemish. We simply wiped the product on with a paper towel and let is sit for 20 minutes before wiping it off with a clean towel. Everything looks brand-new. I'm buying a couple more so we can finish our cabinets and wood paneling. We're so glad we found this product." —Kris

Being the rebel that I am, I chose not to wear my phone around my neck, and so it, my ID, and my debit card ended up at the bottom of the river and I just assumed it would be discovered a thousand years from now and placed in a museum as an ancient artifact. Fast forward to this week. I was contacted via FB by an Alachua County Sheriff’s Office diver and guess what he found? Yup, my phone case with all of the contents intact and dry as a bone! He had to cut the case open, but there was not one single drop of water in it and he ended up purchasing a case for himself because he was just that impressed!" —Julie McDonald

a reviewer mirror selfie of someone wearing a sports bra and the biker shorts

I bought these for running last year and I am SO MAD whenever they're in the wash that I just bought several more pairs for summer — the material is nice and thick, so I thought they'd overheat, but they actually stay lightweight and cooling even on my longest runs. It has just the right amount of compression for a workout, but not so much that they're uncomfy to wear casually, either.

Promising review: "I’m getting back into running again and these actually stay up and place the thighs don’t rub together or ride up. I love the pockets. I just had two babies in two years and I am almost four months postpartum with my second child. I live in Florida and it’s hard I enjoy running so long leggings are becoming out of the question for me. I don’t like short shorts and these are just absolutely perfect as far as length and fit goes. The material is great as far as sweating and see-through goes. I would definitely recommend the shorts as either activewear or even to lounge around the house in." —J L

    Amazon

Promising review: "These rug grippers are EXCELLENT!!! We recently bought two new rugs for our kitchen and needed something to keep them from sliding. These work great!! So easy to apply. We flipped our rug over. The grippers are marked; one side says rug, the other says floor. So we placed two in each corner. On our larger rug we placed one in the middle of each side. We stuck them to the rug. Flipped it back over. Got it positioned where we wanted it. Started with a corner and just went along sticking them to the floor making sure there were no bumps in the rug. Then we walked over each gripper to press it down to the floor. I promise you these rugs are not going anywhere! Great idea!" —Stacey A Morriset

Promising review: "I live in Florida and have two children in sports that I spend countless hours going to practice and games in the hot summer sun... I quickly learned to get a clip-on fan and umbrella to help stay cool, but the small sporting goods store umbrellas only ever seem to work if the sun is directly over your head, not coming from the side, or roasting your back or neck. Finding this Sport-Brella was like a gift from above. It is bigger, blocks more sun, and most importantly, can be adjusted into all kinds of angles to block the sun from whatever direction it comes from. It is also more durable than previous sport umbrellas I've used in the past. I'm sold on this... it costs a little more, but well worth the investment if you need to spend a lot of time at games and practice." —Wolfshanze

I stained a pair of beloved bright blue bike shorts in my sleep and tried to get it out with soap and water, but the stain was still there when it came out of the wash. I treated it with this, stuck it back in the wash, and BOOM, it's like it never happened (I panicked before I could get a before and after, please forgive me, laundry gods).

Promising review: This thing is magic. I tried it on a few clothes that had literally years old stains of food, turmeric, coffee and oil. These clothes had already gone through several hot dry cycles in drier and I was told that once clothes go through hot cycle in dried they set in and never come off. With this, most did come off! I have one of these and WOWZA, it really helps you get extra mileage out of your shampoo. I have a whole lot of hair on my head so sometimes it's a struggle to feel like I've soaped up my whole scalp thorough, but this is a very effective way to spread out the suds and really get them to the roots. I was worried it might tangle in my hair, but it was totally fine on that front, too. I've noticed that my hair has been a little less greasy at the roots since I started using it. And I'm echoing a ton of reviewers here when I say it just feels reeeeeally, really nice.

Promising review: "I bought this item based on the reviews and needing something that would help with my itchy scalp. I tend to have a line on the back of my scalp where product builds up due to my thick hair and extreme Florida humidity. I've used this a few times now and I love the way it feels. It helps the shampoo really get into my scalp and I haven't had as much itching since I started." —Ashley R.

It is shading outside my roommate's western bedroom window, providing filtered light for some plants, shade for our dogs when they go out to play and pee, and protect my hydrophobic dog from the rare rain. So far, so good! In fact, so good that I bought a second one to extend my patio cover during quarantine and I'm about to buy a third because I bought a full sun baby tree not realizing it needs less sun during the first couple of years." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "I ordered two, one for myself and one for my husband. I've got to say these are an absolutely amazing product. We live in Southwest Florida (it ALWAYS HOTT 🔥). So needless to say having a coolie that actually keeps our drinks COLD, is truly awesome! We absolutely LOVE them. Not only do they keep your drink very cold, they keep them cold for hours. I accidentally left my drink in the car (our very black car) on a day that was pushing just over 98°-not including the 'feels like' temp. When I got back to the car, about 1.5 hours later, drink was STILL VERY COLD! I was absolutely amazed! There isn't ever any condensation, it feels sturdy in your hand, not 'slippery,' and it it not bulky or awkward! Those are just a few of the reasons why I am ordering several more. If you're on the fence, BUY them. They pay for themselves over and over again!" —Kara Ohlsen

    33. A stick of Body Glide anti-chafing balm you can apply between your thighs for when they rub together under summer clothes, or under your sports bra to avoid all that skin irritation in ~hot spots~ you get from working out in the heat.

I swear by this to the point where if I can't find it in the morning on a summer run, I just won't go out, LOLOLOL. My boobs chafe SO BADLY under my sports bra bands, no matter what kind I'm wearing, but putting on a tiny bit of this before I leave works like a charm. Absolutely no more friction and no more going "OW OW OW" in the shower because my literal boob wounds were stinging. (Psst — if you already *DO* have chafing, I use Bio-Oil to soothe it because everything else stings like heck — you can get it for $8.92 on Amazon!)

Promising review: "I had a terrible summer in Florida this year with the high temps and humidity and started to chafe every time I wore my sport bra (five times a week) so bad. It was painful and my skin was breaking in places all along my sport bra band. Powder and/or vaseline did not help. I found this product, and have not had even one episode of chafing once I started using it. it's easy to apply; i just put it anywhere my sports bra band touches front and back. haven't chafed not one time since i started using it." —Heather

    34. A Pet House candle with scents engineered to cancel out all those miscellaneous pet odors like litter boxes, dog bed, and all those lil' sprinkles of pee that you've just accepted as "eau de basement" since your pet came into your home.

    lavender green tea candle burning
    Amazon

Promising review: "These are the BEST candles for homes with dogs. We have five dogs (yup, five) ranging from a 6-lb Chihuahua to a 95-lb Lab. All are rescues and two are seniors. Senior dogs tend to be a little more stinky. These candles are amazing. Even when not lit with the lid off they make the house smell like fresh cut flowers. Light just one and the whole upstairs smells like lilacs. It’s magic. There’s no chemical scent, it really smells like fresh flowers. I’m not a fan of labels on candles, and this one peels off really easily and leaves no sticky residue. You’re left with a beautiful, clean looking, fresh smelling, dog funk eliminating and even-burning candle." —Laurel

It comes in other pretty colors, but I am especially partial to this one because I bought it for my parents (their kitchen is entirely pink and one of my favorite places on Earth), and this was SO EASY to use — not to mention super safe! It worked like a charm on their stove, which needs to be lit by hand. I use it all all my candles now too. I'm a big weenie about fire (lol, self-preservation) so I've always stuck to extended arm gas lighters, but this is much better for the environment (plus cuter), so I feel a lot better about using it.

Promising review: "Turns lighting three-wick candles into Harry Potter magic. And while 'life-changing' may sound a touch hyperbolic, it really isn't if you've ever gotten a hand cramp from clicking a butane lighter that stubbornly refuses to produce a flame. Simple to charge with the included cord — and the charge is long lasting. (I charged mine a week or two ago and use it nearly every day.) Love that it has a light to indicate when it's on/off." —Call of the Mild

Promising review: "I have owned several of these in survival and hurricane supply kits for many years but never put one to use. I went on a distance hike on a day that turned out to be unusually warm. I had a camelback and a spare water bottle off of my mountain bike. Ended up rupturing the bladder of the pack and losing all of the water out of it. I was left with my water bottle and my Lifestraw. Water everywhere, being marshlands of Southern Florida. I could have used the straw directly in any of them, but I just resorted to filling the bottle and drinking it out with the straw. I lived, so I know it works. I probably would not have made it home had I not had it with me. Buy one! Buy several!" —Nefarious Rogue

An embarrassing confession: I do not have a pet, but I shed like nobody's business. My hair gets so ingrained in the carpet that a vacuum truly does nothing for it, so I often was just unrooting clumps of hair from the floor with my hands (sorry for the visual). I bought this broom and it immediately started pulling it up GOBS of hair. My carpet like, genuinely changed color (turns out the pink was supposed to be much pinker, whoops). Anyway, do with that semi-horrifying information what you will — you can read my full review of the pet hair broom for more deets.

Promising review: "This sucker is magic. I bought mine thhree years ago and it still works. I use it to scrape up the dog hair that gets embedded in my living room rug. (We have two basset hounds who are constantly shedding.) The vacuum gets a lot of it, but even after I run the vacuum I can drag this broom over the rug and drag up entire piles of dirt and fur that were missed. It's also great on my kitchen tile. We have a dog door in our kitchen, so our two bassets are always dragging in dirt and making messes. This works better than a broom because it works like a squeegee — nothing gets caught in the broom fibers, and it can clean up damp/wet messes as well." —yetanotherstephanie

Promising review: "I've had this thing for less than twelve hours and I've used it three times ... IT'S MAGICAL. I eat a lot of pasta — like, A LOT. I probably eat pasta at least seven times a week; I love pasta! Boiling water is a pain and I've always hated having to wash the big pasta pan afterwards. Well this Fasta Pasta puts that to an end. Now all I have to do is measure my pasta, fill to the water line, and wait. It's kind of like Ronco's 'set it and forget it.'" —Kate Slater

A hand using it to push scraps down a garbage disposal
    Amazon

Bonus: one side of it is curved so it'll work on bowls as well as plates.

Promising review: "I’m honestly shocked at how good this thing is. I bought it to aid in cleaning my big square industrial style sink, as it doesn’t drain well and my water pressure is too low to make much of a difference so stuff like coffee grounds and random pasta bits build up fast. This thing is like magic on my sink. I can quickly scrape everything into the drain strainer and chuck it. My sink is 90% clean and dry just from doing that, and with all the gross food bits taken care of I can find and scrub the stubborn parts faster. The shape of this scraper is perfect, because I can get it exactly in the corners of the sink where most everything collects. I also use it for scraping dishes before washing them and that’s where the curved end really shines, because it swoops around bowls and pots effortlessly. Comes clean with a dot of dish soap and a quick massage. I used it to squeegee a big water spill off my counter once and my counter was completely dry in seconds, no towels needed. It doesn’t miss anything when you’re using it. To me it’s comfortable enough to get the job done while not compromising on my ability to put enough pressure on it for a good clean pull. Best part is I’ve been using it for months and it still looks new." —April

    46. An air-tight pantry-organizing container set so you can not only organize the horror show that is your pantry, but keep all your goods fresher *way* longer. Bonus: the lids are so airtight you can store liquid in them and jostle 'em around.

Customer image of five air tight containers with dry and wet goods in them
Customer image turning the container upside down to show it won't spill

Promising review: "The lids are magic.  I have been a fan of Good Grips OXO products since moving out and establishing my own household. My husband and I had been eyeing this storage set for quite some time and finally took the plunge. Often I will do a pro/con list for my reviews, but I cannot in this case. There are no cons. This design is impeccable. The canisters themselves are sturdy, and since they’re clear, it’s obvious what’s inside. The magic here is really in the lids. They create a perfect seal with the push of the button (unsealing the same way). I put 4 to 5 pounds of pasta in one of mine, turned it upside down, and not a noodle spilled. The lids can be completely dismantled for cleaning, and it’s all dishwasher safe. All containers are stackable, so this really is a fantastic way to get organized and save space. These are magnificent!" —Reviewtoakill

    Amazon

Rocco & Roxie Supply Company is a family-owned small business established in 2013 that specializes in pet odor eliminators, pet toys, pet snacks, and pet accessories.

Promising review: "Years old stains magically came off. I only write reviews for items I really like. Sooo ... I have two cats and three litter boxes. I've been using Arm and Hammer and another deodorizing crystal. Both give a strong scent in the beginning that masks the litter smell, but seem to lose efficacy over the hours. Rocco and Roxie has a very pleasant odor from the start. It's not strong at all. It's hard to describe but it's like a mix between light cinnamon and bubble gum (the classic type shaped like.a ball and wrapped in a wrapper. Used to get those trick or treating LOL). I tried this in just one litter box at first and liked the results. Then I realized how bad the other box smelled from 6 feet away even though the cats don't use it at much. So I sprinkled it and like magic, the bad smell is gone. I'm hooked on this and will repurchase soon." —Shital Shah

Promising review: "We originally purchased this to scrub our tile floors and grout in the bathrooms. Easy to grab what we want, pop it in the microwave in a damp paper towel for 30 seconds, into the toaster, and they taste completely fresh! I've had this for a while now, maybe six or eight months, and so far it hasn't gotten dull at all. I wash it either by hand or in the top rack of the dishwasher if there's room. But it's so easy to wash, it's no big deal to do it by hand. I may need to buy more of these for Christmas gifts! Genius invention!" —GrammyWoz

Promising review: "Having had arthritis in my hands since my teens, I have used many jar/bottle openers out of necessity. The OXO ones work well, but wear out within a year because of the volume of usage. This fabulous opener has yet to find a container that it cannot easily open, even bottles of water with heavily sealed caps. I love it so much I ordered another one to have in two drawers on either end of my kitchen. This gripper does not exacerbate my carpel tunnel syndrome, either. I would give it more stars if I could." —Patrizia L.
