    Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

This mask has the approval of a *ton* of runners and athletes in its reviews, but also runners IRL. I run in Central Park four days a week and I am constantly seeing other runners in this mask. I have two of them in my own run rotation, and I'm impressed not only by how well they stay in place and don't get over-sweaty and gross on long runs, but by how well they wash up and maintain their shape. The straps are super soft on your ears, too. I've gotten to used to straps chafing on longer runs that I was surprised by what a difference this made. A lot of reviewers also swear by these for long trips on planes, since they're so comfy. I gifted one of these to my dad for Christmas, too, and it's his go-to for walks and errand running. It's just an overall easier mask to breathe in (while still maintaining a tight fit and keeping the people around you safe!).

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "I have chronic pain. First in my low back, then my neck, now my right foot and both knees. I’ve tried everything to try to support my knees. Those one-size-fits-all knees braces that cover the whole knee, those knee sleeves that cover the whole knee, a patella brace with a strap for the thigh and just below the knees with a padding that covered the back of my knee. Nothing worked AND was comfortable. They all shifted and chafed. About to give up I tried this. It fit comfortably under my jeans, it doesn’t shift around. I can wear it all day, I can go up and down stairs without pain, and I’ve even noticed improvement in my lower back as well. I’m very pleased!" —Angela

    6. A bottle of Drop It, a natural wine sulfate and tannin remover that works its magic on your glass in just 20 seconds, so you can rest easy with your nightly glass of Pinot knowing you've spared yourself the infamous Post-Wine Headache or allergic reactions.

    Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

It's also a lot more cost effective and environmentally friendly than wine wands or other competitors — a single bottle of this can be used to treat up to 55 glasses of wine, as opposed to wands that can only do a few glasses each before they get tossed. Drop It recommends one to two drops for each glass of white wine, two to three for a glass of red, and seven to nine if you're treating the whole bottle at once. Once it's in the glass, swirl lightly for 20 seconds, and you should be raring to go!

Promising review: "I became really sensitive to wine in my 30s and through a lot of trial and painful error, I thought I might have to give up on wine altogether. Then I found out about the preservatives being a possible cause and decided to give this product a shot. So glad I did!! I'm still pretty sensitive to reds but this helps tremendously so that I can have a glass with dinner without a headache immediately settling in. Whites cause me no problem whatsoever! I love that it takes so little product to make a difference to a whole bottle. Just a few drops, a few minutes, and we are good to go." —CastawayIrons

    amazon.com

A lot of reviewers also mentioned this was great for saving their lipstick or when fabric from masks gets wet in the rain!

Promising review: "These make it so much easier to have a conversation since your mask isn't right on your mouth and you don't sound all muffled. Other benefit I don't have to speak as loudly. I'm not so sure about being cooler with this because it always feels hot when I have my mask on. There are some clips on both ends of these but I'm not sure how they are used. I find they stay in place if my mask is nice and snug which it should be. Very satisfied with this product." —Duarte Lady

This eye mask blocks out the light and the music blocks all the noise around me. It is incredibly soft and very comfortable to wear. Get it from Amazon for $24.99.

    10. A pair of super-comfy period-proof underwear designed to hold two tampons' worth of period blood. Not only are these a great alternative to pads and tampons, they're also ideal for overnight protection (you can pair them with a pad if you have a heavy flow) and for people who are worried about ~leakage~ during sports or physical activities — I personally always wear period-proof undies when I go on runs on my period and it has been a MASSIVE godsend.

    Emma Lord//BuzzFeed

Also, unlike your regular undies, you don't have to scrub the blood out of these. They're designed so it rinses right out in the sink with soap and warm water and can get tossed in the washer and dryer from there. You can read the rest of my review on Bambody period underwear for more deets!

Psst — reviewers love these undies, but suggest sizing up!

Promising review: "These are WONDERFUL!! They are super comfortable, soft, have a mild compression to them, breathable, great coverage, not bulky at all, and super absorbent!! You don’t get that metallic blood scent coming through either, which I was super skeptical about. So the packaging states that they recommend using these as a backup to another period product like a cup, but I tested the hell out of these babies for my entire period as the only form of protection and left my cup in its drawer. I’m in my 30s. I’m not a super-heavy bleeder but I do have fairly heavy days. For the test I used one panty per day (24 hours) and never once had a leak, wetness feel, smell, felt uncomfortable, or had bulkiness. When I rinsed them out in the sink after the 24-hour test the amount of blood was astonishing. As you rinse it there’s definitely that old-blood kind of metallic smell. Then I just washed them on the gentle cycle and air-dried them. Super easy, does take a long time to air dry though. I’ll likely buy more so that I can have daytime and nighttime sets." —Becky

Get it from Amazon for $14.90+ (available in sizes XS–6XL, two colors, and in three-packs).

    11. A rechargeable hand warmer complete with double-sided heat and three different heat settings that'll make you the envy of everyone gritting their teeth through the winter cold.

    Amazon

Psst — this is USB rechargeable, and you can even use a power bank or your phone to charge it!

Promising review: "This hand warmer is amazing! My hands are constantly cold and I've tried all sorts of products to help keep them warm but nothing has worked until now. I charge the hand warmer every night with a standard USB charger and the next day, I have hours of warmth. The three temperature settings are very helpful — I use the highest setting when I'm outdoors for long periods of time and the lower settings when I'm indoors (e.g., sitting at my desk or in a cold movie theater). I've already given hand warmers as gifts to several cold-handed friends and family members and they're loving it as well. I hope Ocoopa comes out with a foot warmer next!" —Riva Kupritz

    12. A delightful little tool called the Bug Bite Thing that suctions on all kinds of bug bites to reduce swelling, itchiness, and redness right at the source. (Ability to curse mosquitoes into the next dimension not included.)

A BuzzFeed editor's arm with a bite on it "before," a pic of the bug bite tool, and a pic of the editor's arm after it's been suctioned with swelling/redness reduced
    Rebecca O'Connell / BuzzFeed

This works on mosquitoes, bees, wasps, biting flies, sea lice, and more (although TBH, if this list of bugs gets any longer I may just stay indoors forever!!).

Promising review: "I discovered this item on TikTok and found it to be quite interesting. I was skeptical to purchase at first but decided to give it a try since my kid’s bug bites swell and are incredibly itchy. I’m amazed at how well it works. Tried it the other night on my daughter’s mosquito bite, and it provided immediate relief. The swelling around the bite went down and itching stopped after a minute or two. It’s easy to use. It does leave a round imprint on the skin but disappears after a couple of minutes. My 9-year-old daughter uses it on her own bug bites. I have recommended this to family and friends who are considering purchasing the product. Love it!" —Garima Chauhan

Get it from Amazon for $9.95.

    13. A facial ice roller you can stash in the fridge or freezer to help with all *kinds* of miscellaneous ouchies, like migraines, sinus pain, and jaw pain.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "I was skeptical about this product. I wasn't sure how it was much different than rolling any other frozen thing on your body. I'm beyond pleasantly surprised. I've used it for sinus pain, migraines, swollen neck glands, under-eye circles/bags, inflamed acne, TMJ pain, etc. Not to mention, when I used it on my face, it leaves my skin feeling tight and wakes me up in the mornings. It also stays cold for forever but never sweats or leaves water behind. It's like magic. I also bought one for my mom who suffers from nerve damage in her arms and legs. I think it'll really help when she has bad pain days." —Jessica McRee

    14. A foot file to remove painful, aching calluses and cracked skin from your feet with some gentle rubbing. Your feet are gonna be so smug when you're done, TBH.

Before image of a cracked foot with an after image of the skin smooth
    amazon.com

It works whether your feet are dry or wet at the time, and will leave your heels so soft you might start petting them.

Promising review: "I suffered from the most severely painful cracked feet for over 30 years. Like many that suffer from this condition, I've tried every dang option, medical and homeopathic do-it-yourself conjuring I could think of. All of which ended up not working and seemed I would be doomed to live out the rest of my life dealing severely painful cracked feet. Not to mention the wearing of socks at the beach, scratching the wife with the heals and the kids asking if I was dying due to the way my feet looked — no joke! That is, until I found and tried the Colossal Foot Rasp from Rikans. Not only did it work, but it REALLY worked! I could not believe how much this foot file does its job in getting through the dry, dead and calloused skin. Hope this review finds its way to those that dealt with feet and heels like I had. You don't have to live with it as this product will do wonders if used correctly." —My Comment

    15. A pair of compression gloves designed to help alleviate pain from carpal tunnel and arthritis, so you can type at your keyboard without an internal monologue of "ow OW ow owwwww" for the majority of your workday.

Reviewer with gray fingerless compression gloves on hands
    amazon.com

Promising review: "When I tell you these gloves are heaven sent. I've been having unbearable pain to the point I've been unable to use my hand. I'm in my early 30s, so that's scary. I've used tons of units & pain patches but they only provided temporary relief for a few minutes or hours. Purchasing these gloves I've now been able to use my hand again within the first 24 hours. Initially they were too small/tight, but I contacted the seller, whom amazingly replaced them, and now I've been using them constantly without issue. I highly recommend these gloves." —Zbrand

I don't believe I have ever had that before. I haven't used earbuds in a really long time because they just never worked out for me. I wore these for several hours when I got them prior to doing any charge or anything and was extremely satisfied with sound quality and comfort. I haven't done much other then working around the house so I can update once I take them to the gym or some other environment. I don't foresee any issues though. Great product." —Nathan J. Hamilton

Promising review: "I bought this for my scars but because of the current COVID-19 crisis I have been washing my hands so much that they are painfully dry. reviewer image of the bristles on the blue massager
    amazon.com

Promising review: "This has been the BEST $8 I’ve ever spent! I suffer from psoriasis on my scalp I’ve dealt with FOR YEARS. I get the worst flare-ups and the dandruff is just incredibly painful and embarrassing. I tried just about everything. I read some of the reviews and saw some other people had used it for the same thing. I literally just massaged my entire scalp while shampooing. I have a lot of hair so I had to flip my head over and do sections but I was able to get everything off my scalp. I didn’t have ANY dandruff. It really did help get all the buildup out and remove any irritation I had on my scalp. If you have psoriasis, try it!" —Michelle

    The jet lag pills
    Amazon

According to the instructions, you should take them at takeoff and then every two hours and then again once you arrive to help with relaxation and combat sleepiness.

Promising review: "My husband and I have used this product now for five years for multiple trips overseas and these really work. How do we know? We've forgotten to use them on a couple of legs and there has been a night/day difference in our energy levels. We use precisely as directed, setting timers on our phone when possible to remember the doses. On a few occasions we've slept through the timer, so missed the timing of a couple of doses, and we've been fine. Our last trip to Australia was 34 hours door to door on the outbound. We would have been a complete wreck without these. As it was, we arrived late morning, remained awake and lively (enough) through dinner, and then got a good night's sleep. The next day we felt as good as new. For the years before I used this, I would need to sleep for a few days after a leg like that. We never travel without this now. I highly recommend this product." —motokat

Promising review: "My feet never touch the floor when I sit on airplane seats. For short flights, this is bearable, but I have been in misery on longer rides. I used this sling during a trip to Thailand from East Coast USA and it made the trip so much better. Between this sling and a pair of compression stockings, I survived 26 hours of consecutive flight with no swelling or pain. It's easy to use with any tray table or back-of-seat pocket. It folds up small enough into its pouch that I could carry it in my hand luggage, and it takes up about the same space as a set of over-the-ear headphones." —Holbytla

Promising review: "This stuff is AWESOME! I don’t know if it was just 'maskne' or what but the beginning of the fall as summer was ending my skin got pretty bad for me. And I have never had much acne or anything. Even if I didn’t have very many pimples I always had dark red spots from where they were and scabs and bumps, etc. After a few weeks of using it I noticed a huge difference, my skin was way more clear, fewer red spots, and much smoother. 28. A set of itty-bitty dermaplaning razors you can use to take care of those lil' unibrow hairs that keep dodging your tweezers or work whatever face fuzzies you might want to take care of in a gentle way, without any of the "YIKESSSS" of plucking or waxing.

    Amazon

This tool also helps soften skin by gently exfoliating as you use it!

Promising review: "First time I have bought these, and I love them! So easy to use, and I can't believe how well they work. I used them for the peach fuzz on the sides of my face (sideburn and cheek area) and mustache area. The fuzz is really pale, but I think that my makeup looks so much smoother without it. I only do it about once a month, maybe a little more often. I was using a disposable razor, but this is quicker and seems to do a better job. (It's a LOT quicker! and easier, too!) I did try the little guard thing for my brows. I would never try to actually shape my brows, but I did use it to clean up the bigger areas under them. And if you are someone who has to clean up between them (unibrow) this would be really efficient." —Annette

    amazon.com

TBH, I swear by these so aggressively that I have them on a subscription. They're like ear glue. My apartment is on a busy street and my upstairs neighbor is a noisy human being (does this count as a subtweet??) and once I pop these babies in I can barely hear a thing. Plus, my ears never get sore with these in like they do with headphones or other earplugs.

Promising review: "I have been on a search for the most comfortable ear plugs and these are IT! I have tried so many different ears plugs it's ridiculous! For some reason my ear canals are super sensitive and the foam plugs create way too much pressure and by morning as I tried removing them it was so painful again times it would bring tears to my eyes, the vacuum created didn't help either. I had even tried the sensitive ears selection and the children's size and no matter which one I tried, they all caused incredible pain and I can't stay asleep without blocking out the noise. These silicone, moldable earplugs are so easy to use and so comfortable, once you put them on your ear, you don't even really notice that they are on. No pain whatsoever, zilch, nada, it's fantastic. They can even be used for swimming, although I've not tried it. Anywho, I highly recommend this product whether your ears are sensitive or not." —Michelle Lonie

Promising review: "It's a miracle! I had peeling, weak nails for years. Tried everything. A friend recommended a nail strengthener they saw on QVC. It was quite pricey and I wanted to make sure it was worth it so I read the reviews. One of the comments said just buy Solar Oil. Since it was much more affordable than the QVC stuff, I tried it. I bought it in February. This size bottle lasted a bit more than a month religiously applying it two to three times a day. I was really seeing great improvement so I bought another bottle in late March. By May, all the peeling had grown out and my nails were getting stronger every day. I then bought the big 4-ounce refill bottle because I never want to run out of it again! Cannot recommend this stuff enough!" —Diana

Promising review: "During quarantine, my girlfriend and I have both spent a lot of time on screens (she on her laptop for work, and me on the TV playing video games). We got them about two weeks ago, and we've both noticed a huge difference in our blue-screen tolerance. It has helped our eyes feel less tired, and pretty much anytime we look at any screen now, we are wearing these glasses. This is a great, low-priced two-pack deal. Everything looks a little bit yellow while wearing them, but that is truly my only complaint! Once you've worn them for a while you hardly notice the yellow until you take them off." —Taylor S.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "I’m not one to leave a review about many products but I saw a review on this product that made me buy it and I thought it wasn’t only fair to pay it forward! I’ve dealt with horrendous ingrown hairs for years! I’ve tried everything to minimize them, expensive wax packages and expensive serums and creams, plucking, not shaving — you name it I tried it. This product has literally put everything I’ve tried to shame! For the price too! it was so worth it! I’ve been using it for about a month everyday after I get out of the shower (I saw someone say they put it in a spray bottle to get full use of the product rather than it seeping into a cotton ball, 10/10 would recommend) I haven’t gotten an ingrown since and the ones I had healed! The smell is kind of strong but so are the results. I also have pretty sensitive skin and I was worried about using it after I shave/wax, burns a lil bit but it didn’t cause a flare-up. Can’t wait to not be insecure at the beach this summer!" —Jess

    Amazon

Psst — a lot of reviewers with chronic constipation and other gastrointestinal issues that get them ~backed up~ swear by this!

Promising review: "This thing provided relief INSTANTLY! I have to take pain meds for severe back problems, which means I get blocked easily...even if I am on a liquid diet. The dreaded 24-hr prep process for colonoscopies takes 48-hrs and twice the prep for me and there may still be stuff left over because my body hates pooping these days. It normally takes an hour or more before I just have to give up and use a suppository or enema. I take massive amounts of chewable gummy fiber, eat enough vegetables for my entire family, and drink water as if I were an ocean creature...at least 8–10 glasses a day (usually more...much more). If I drink coffee, I have to pee but that's about it. And I pee a lot with all that water. This stool is the FIRST thing that made this process easier. It arrived in its own box. I thought...it must be special. I unwrapped its plastic and placed it in its new glorious position. Then I decided, 'What the heck, let's give it a go!' AND I DID! No struggling. No squirming. No straining. No squeezing. No grimacing. No difficulty. Just GO! THANK YOU GOD!" —NoneYa

Bevel is a Black-founded company that specializes in grooming products designed for sensitive skin. Each set includes the Bevel safety razor, badger shave brush, shave cream, priming oil, restoring balm, and 20 replacement blades.

Promising review: "When I saw this shave kit it made me think of my grandfather. It used to be a running joke in the family. He would go on and on about how all of the razors out there nowadays were nothing but a gimmick and that anything more than one blade was too many. He used to say, 'If you have one good blade it'll do you better than four cheap ones. Don't waste your money.' But I'll tell you one thing... At 96 my grandfather had one of the nicest shaves and amazing skin for his age so he had to be on to something. After receiving this shaving kit I see why. Will a shave take you more time with this kit? Yes. You have to learn the exact grains of your shave area and learn to shave a bit differently. With that being said, the investment of time and investment of money in the initial kit is so worth it. Everything is high quality. Once you get the hang of it you'll have an amazing shave and no bumps or nicks. You'll wonder why you spent so much money on four or more blades when you can get much better results with just one. My grandfather was rarely ever wrong, and he was right about shaving too. I'll be ordering more of these kits for my sons. I refuse to overpay for inferior shaving products any longer. This is definitely a product that will change the way you think about shaving." —Jamie

Promising review: "I received this umbrella last night and used it all morning today. I live in Vegas, and there is no shade at all in my backyard. I like to spend as much time as possible outside, and I have two patios and a medium-sized yard — medium-sized for Vegas, that is, which is not that large. I wanted to be able to sit on either patio as well as in other areas of the yard. But the winds gust so strongly here that I have watched patio umbrellas and even a pergola destroyed and blown halfway across the yard. This little umbrella gives me a perfect solution. It is very lightweight and easy to carry in its handy bag. I was able to attach it to chairs easily and securely. The umbrella is a nice size when opened. It was very easy to change the tilt. By changing the tilt, I was able to shade both myself and the table that held my laptop all day. I highly recommend this umbrella to anyone who wants good, portable, easy-to-use shade that can be attached to a variety of chairs, tables, etc." —Deborah M. Okey

Hello, my toenails are a problem children for two reasons: One is that they're kinda thick, the other is that I'm a long-distance runner, which doesn't play nice with toenails.
