Promising review: "The earbuds worked seamlessly and well out of the box. I use them while hiking the hills with my dogs and when working at my desk – I can still hear outside noises when needed for safety, but can listen to music without disturbing others. The earbuds are comfortable even during exercise, and they fit securely. Using the earbuds as a headset with my cell phone is easy as well. I do have to experiment with how they handle the Google assistant. The audio quality is at least stereo hi-fi, and the earbuds paired easily with both my phone and laptop. Wireless charging and having a large backup power source for the phone are terrific features." –Jawpar

    2. A pet hair remover so effective at pulling up pet hair from the most ingrained, inconvenient spots in your house you might stare at it and wonder if it's enchanted.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "Holy cow this is magic. I have a 230-pound Mastiff. I have purchased any and everything claiming to get dog hair off car carpet. I have used at least three different vacuums and attachments. Lately I have been using a microfiber towel because it had some grip. Then this piece of magic arrived. It gets every single hair no matter how embedded. There were hairs I had a hard time removing with my fingers. The Fur-Zoff pulled them right out. This has cut my hair removal time in half! Thank you for this savior of a tool." —David R.

Get it from Amazon for $5.25.

    3. A set of itty bitty dermaplaning razors perfect not just for taking care of those lil' unibrow hairs that keep dodging your tweezers, but whatever face fuzzies you might want to take care of in a gentle way — an especially handy tool when many of us can't head to a salon like we normally would.

    Amazon

This tool also helps soften skin by gently exfoliating as you use it!

Promising review: "I will start by saying that I am someone who is used to getting regular facials that include dermaplaning. I bought this because this service was no longer available to me during COVID (social distancing). I needed something to clear away dead skin and fine hairs. This product did NOT disappoint. The first time I used this blade/product I was absolutely amazed at the results. I washed my face and hands before using this. Once my face was dry, I used this to clear away dried skin areas and fine hair. My face felt amazing. I then proceeded to follow my moisturizing routine. It literally felt like I came from the spa. They came three to a package so this was a great buy for the amount of money spent. I have used one blade roughly three to four times and still don't feel the need to switch to a new blade yet. Excellent purchase." —Valerie Denison

    4. A streak-free anti-fog spray you can quickly apply to eyeglasses, sunglasses, and face shields, to prevent them from fogging up while you're wearing a mask.

A reviewer image of a person wearing unfogged glasses with their face mask holding up the spray
    amazon.com

Promising review: "I bought this product because wearing a face mask makes my glasses fog, even with the metal strip to form around the bridge of my nose. It works all day with only one application, unless I have been doing a lot of activity, then I might have to re-apply. Just spray it on the clean lenses of your glasses then wipe dry with a clean dry lintless cloth, as simple as that. I was so impressed that I gave my second bottle to my team members for them to use. Delivery was fast. I highly recommend this product from this company. I would not hesitate to buy this again when I need more in the future." —Tonya Crippen

Get it from Amazon for $10.55.

    5. Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind concealer, a popular lightweight concealer so versatile you can use it for anything from a quick pre-Zoom touch-up to full coverage. This also helps cover dark circles without caking and reduce puffiness.

    Kayla Suazo / BuzzFeed

Promising review: "This stuff is great. I have fair sensitive skin but decided to try this. I previously used a Clinique concealer for years and a beauty blog recommended this stuff so I went for it. For the money it’s great. It’s medium coverage I would say so if you need a really full coverage concealer you’d have to play with it a little to see if layering it would make it work for you. Since COVID I kind of stopped wearing foundation so I use this under my eyes and in my T-zone and just spread it with my fingers to blend and it looks natural and not cakey but brightens under my eyes. 10/10 will be buying again." —Amazon Customer

Promising review: "I love the finish on the bottle! I hate holding wet water bottles and this does NOT sweat! It also holds two full bottles of 16.9-oz. packages water bottles so it’s very easy to get my full water intake on the go! Easy to carry, fits in my car's cup holders perfectly (not big at all like some water bottles). I got the ombré purple to teal and it’s very true to color. Easy to clean, wide enough for bottle brushes, and the straw stays put. I also love how I just push the little button by the mouthpiece and it just pops open quick for easy drinking (if you’re driving and don’t need to be messing around opening bottles😉). Highly recommend this water bottle. For the price, it’s amazing! Keeps my water cool for hours too." —Alicia

    Bek O'Connell / BuzzFeed

Promising review: "I'm typically one of those people that will write a review when a product is bad but never really ever good. But I HAD to write this review ... So I recently dyed the ends of my hair blue and it made my hair feel 'stretchy,' which usually means that it's lacking protein. I was going to buy my normal Olaplex 3 but I was affected by COVID-19 and it really wouldn't be smart right now to buy a product that expensive. Well, I was reading an article and it mentioned this stuff and it was calling it the Olaplex dupe. Eight dollars isn't bad so why not. I bought it. Now, I have dry hair from mid shaft to ends from bleaching and I'm letting my natural brown hair grow out. First use, it's a little shiny, nothing spectacular but I noticed barely any stretching in my hair (I left it on for three hours). My hair is SO SOFT ... Olaplex never left my hair feeling this amazing after just one use. This is my new holy grail product and will recommend to everyone!" —lynn

Promising review: "I bought this for my scars but because of the current COVID-19 crisis I have been washing my hands so much that they are painfully dry. Hand cream hasn't helped enough so I decided to use the Bio-Oil on them and even after the first application they felt SO much better! I'm glad I bought the big bottle!" —L. Strand

Promising review: "I bought these pens during quarantine, not expecting much, considering they are quite inexpensive. I've used well-known brand marker/pens in the past, and didn't want to pay much for markers I'd use for coloring. I was concerned about the tips bending or bleeding, but I was completely wrong and am very satisfied with this product! They do not bleed, and the tips are strong and thin. I use these pens for coloring, hand-lettering, and note-taking, and they're exactly what I was looking for! The only regret I have is that I did not order the larger pack with more colors!!" —Michael Fanizzi

Promising review: "I'm not washing my hair as often as I should be during quarantine, and after a while my scalp started getting dandruff/flaking skin and was itching. No matter how much I scrubbed the shampoo in with my fingers, my hair still felt oily after showers. I got this and I noticed a BIG difference in my hair after using it. This felt AMAZING while scrubbing my scalp to work the shampoo in (at first I was afraid it wouldn't get to my scalp through my hair or would pull my hair out but neither of those happened) and once my hair dried, I noticed that it wasn't oily at all and my roots were superrr soft. I'm going to recommend this to everyone I know!" —Megan

    amazon.com

Promising review: "These brushes are freaking fantastic. I tried them on a portion of my shower and bathroom floor tiles and grout. I immediately had to do the rest because it made the cleaner sections look dirty. I also tried it on the side of my fridge that is next to my stove top. It did a pretty good job there as well at removing grease and stains. The only downside is that it made me enjoy cleaning!" —Eric T. Ma

    25. A pair of super comfy period-proof underwear designed to hold two tampons' worth of period blood. Psst — reviewers love these undies, but suggest sizing up!

Promising review: "I deal with PCOS and endometriosis which make my periods HEAVY for the first three to four days. I ordered two pairs of these underwear. They absorbed better than a pad, were comfortable, and the top layer stayed dry. Amazing. I had been thinking about buying the really expensive version of these underwear, but the price was ridiculous. These underwear do exactly what I need them to do for half the price. They are easy to hand wash and hang dry. I plan on ordering more. The stitching and waistband are solid and they don't bunch, don't ride up, and don't roll. They provide front and back coverage. They're literally perfect. If you're on the fence about these, I urge you to give them a try. They'll save you money (no pads or tampons needed, and you won't stain your regular underwear and have to replace them)." —drsmaw

    Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

Hello, that is my face above, because I bought into the hype of over 35,000 positive reviews and now I will never look back!! Putting it on is like giving my eyelashes butterfly wings. It doesn't get clumpy, it stays put ALL the live long day (I spent all of this ridiculously hot pandemic summer wearing it, so I can speak to that), and you can apply it on very lightly if you don't want it to look so dramatic, or continue applying for longer lashes each time.

Promising review: "After using Lights, Camera, Lashes by Tarte for the past year, I got tired of breaking the bank over mascara. My sister suggested Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect and I IMMEDIATELY fell in love. It provides dramatic length and great volume. I can honestly say I can’t stop looking at my eyelashes in the mirror every single day because of how awesome they look. Also, it is very long wearing. I go from an eight-hour work day right to the gym and sweat like crazy...and this stuff doesn’t budge! I love it!!" —Carrie E. Miller

Promising review: "I originally picked these up to use in lieu of nasty, nasty dishrags that invoke my inner THIS IS NOT CLEAN demon. Since then, I have used them for everything from cleaning the kitchen to wiping up spills. After use, just toss in the wash and they are ready to go again. They are the perfect size and do an excellent job on every task to which I have applied them. They come in a variety of fun prints and I have yet to wear one out. Paper towel usage has taken a real nosedive, which is a good thing given its relative scarcity at present." —sandra simpson-kraft

A model holding a phone with a small wallet pocket adhesive on it
    Amazon

I bought one of these for my phone about eight months ago just because I have a bad habit of sticking credit cards in my pockets on quick trips around the neighborhood and losing them. I'm happy to report that is still QUITE firmly on my phone and easily holding an ID, credit card, and sneaky $10 bill, which I especially love living in NYC. Instead of making a whole production every time I leave now, I can just grab my keys, my hybrid phone/wallet, and mask, and be right out the door.

Promising review: "Has completely replaced my wallet! I pretty much only need three cards in my day to day life — my credit card, my ID, and my public transit card. This sleeve holds all three perfectly without ever losing a single one, and has held up really well despite how careless I am with my things, so I haven't carried a wallet in months. It's pretty tight at first but will stretch to hold your cards as needed — note that this means that if you take a card out, it will be fairly loose for the others, so be careful. I got the pink color and it's picked up a little color around the edges from my jeans, but otherwise has remained pretty much the same color. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a stick-on wallet sleeve for your phone!" —Alexis

    36. A jewelry-cleaning stick with cleansing solution on a brush designed to get in the nooks and crannies of your jewelry so effectively you'll want to post your before and after pics all over the internet.

Promising review: "This thing is a miracle-worker! I'm a little ashamed to say that getting my ring cleaned had become low priority in the past eight or so years, kids, moving, etc. took the top spots. My ring was so dirty that I was starting to worry that if I took it somewhere to clean it they'd be disgusted! I randomly saw this product mentioned by someone as a way to shine up their ring occasionally. I bought because it was pretty cheap and why not take a chance? I soaked my ring in some warm water and dish soap for about half an hour then took it out and started using the stick on it. I should've taken a picture of all of the gunk I got out of the crevices! I went over it thoroughly and then rinsed it off, OMG! My husband said he could see it sparkling from across the room and said maybe he needed to use it on his ring now! It's been about a month since I've last done it and it's only now starting to lose some of it's sparkle, very long-lasting!" —Browns

All you have to do to "set" it is soak the bear in water for 20 minutes, dry the outside of it, and plop it in with your brown sugar. It also works on baked goods, cakes, cookies, marshmallows, and dried fruit!

Promising review: "Had a large amount of brown sugar and couldn't keep it soft even in a tight container. I purchased new five-quart jars for my flour, sugar and so forth and quickly realized my brown sugar was a ROCK! I purchased this, soaked it and placed it in the sugar as instructed. Within hours it was soft again which was amazing to me! I have about two pounds of sugar in the five-quart jar currently. The jar is sealed gasket but I haven't had to re-soak the bear yet (only a month in use currently). Would recommend to anyone at this point, just mad I have wasted so much brown sugar over the years." —diosa
