    6. Essence's Lash Princess mascara for length so effective, it will make your eyelashes look like they could take flight, but natural enough that they won't be mistaken for falsies.

Promising review: "I’m not gonna lie ... I was skeptical about a mascara at this price point working really well. I am a hard critic of mascara. I’m picky. There is a reason this mascara is very highly rated with over 150,000 reviews. It’s amazing. Thicker and longer lashes with just one coat. Really thicker and longer lashes with two to three coats. This mascara works better than the $24 mascaras that I have used. Wears great throughout the day with no raccoon eyes. I remove it with Micellar Water at night and it comes off easily. Highly recommend this product!" —Paula P.

They are super comfortable, feel like wearing socks and very breathable. I tried walking with it around my backyard and feel very comfortable. It comes in other pretty colors, but I am especially partial to this one because I bought it for my parents (their kitchen is entirely pink and one of my favorite places on Earth), and this was SO EASY to use — not to mention super safe! It worked like a charm on their stove, which needs to be lit by hand. I use it all all my candles now too. I'm a big weenie about fire (lol, self-preservation) so I've always stuck to extended arm gas lighters, but this is much better for the environment (plus cuter), so I feel a lot better about using it.

    14. Plus a tin of cocktail sugar or salt for the rims of your at-home cocktails that come in so many inventive flavors you might just call the Food Network to get your own bartending show.

A whiskey glass with a sugar rim
A container of citrus petals rim sugar
    Emma Lord/BuzzFeed, Emma Lord/Buzzfeed

I recently started putting this on my end-of-the-week whiskey drink (quarantine has made me go full Mad Men, who knew!!) and it is SO darn satisfying. I tried the citrus petals version, and it's got a light lemon, faint floral, and vaguely minty taste with its sweetness that just makes the whole experience a delight and a half. The container it comes in is actually quite wide, so what we did was pour lemon juice on the top half to prep the rim, and a bit of sugar in the bottom half to coat it. In other news, I am officially too fancy to exist.

Promising review: "Since COVID-19 I have become my own bartender. Taco Tuesdays and margaritas! The lime comes through so well with this salt. I use it for Bloody Marys as well. It is thick and chunky so its a learning curve to get the right amount of salt on. Don't press down too hard if you don't like a lot of salt. I do like extra salt but my husband said it was a little much for him, so I have mastered just a light salt for him." —cobrajet427

Get it from Amazon for $6.99 (available in nine flavors).

    15. A set of stackable stick-shaped ice molds reviewers looooove because the ice is narrow enough to plop into their water bottles, whether they're using plain ice or freeze juice as a flavor enhancer. Plus the shape is super fun to use to make chocolate sticks!

I'm in the big heat wave and it's been over 100 every day for the last week, with no sign of it letting up any time soon. These are quick and easy and the cold water bottles have been the only thing helping me sleep in a room anywhere between 80-90 degrees at night. I love the lids! It makes my ice trays easy to stack and more secure. I wish all ice trays came with lids like this!" —AJ Stark

Quirky Ginger Uniques is a Colorado-based Etsy shop established in 2018 that specializes in handcrafted goods like ornaments, jewelry, and more.

Promising review: "I love the dough. It feels amazing! I bought this to fidget with during my therapy sessions and during my online classes, and it really makes a difference! First of all the Stress Away smells like very soothing peppermint tea with hints of minty freshness. All the scents blend very nicely together. The dough itself is a lot like Play-Doh but more malleable and softer. It makes my hand feel and smell good and helps relieve a lot of anxiety and anger. Only con I can think of is that occasionally it gets stuck under my nails but that is solved easily by clipping them. 9.5/10 I strongly recommend for stress relief, anger relief, for fidgeting, for the smell and texture. The owner was very nice and helpful, the item shipped very swiftly, and she even sent in a car freshie! Very satisfied with my purchase. I strongly recommend!!!" —K. Minton

Promising review: "I needed something to help me relax that was not a nap and this did it for me! I used this in an evening bath. Not only did it help me relax, it also helped me fall asleep so good that night. I tend to stay awake in bed (usually on my phone) most nights, but after this bath I fell asleep right away. It didn't bubble a whole lot for me, but it smelled amazing and made my skin the softest it's been in a long time! It's a good sized bottle with a sufficient amount of baths per bottle. Overall, I loved it. I don't take baths too often, but this has inspired me to do this more! 10/10 would buy again." —Priscilla Perez

    Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

I have one of these and WOWZA, it really helps you get extra mileage out of your shampoo. I have a whole lot of hair on my head so sometimes it's a struggle to feel like I've soaped up my whole scalp thorough, but this is a very effective way to spread out the suds and really get them to the roots. I was worried it might tangle in my hair, but it was totally fine on that front, too. I've noticed that my hair has been a little less greasy at the roots since I started using it. And I'm echoing a ton of reviewers here when I say it just feels reeeeeally, really nice.

Promising review: "I can't say enough about this product. I have long hair and I do not wash my hair more than every four to five days. My hair is dry and it doesn't get dirty until nearly a week goes by. However, my scalp is another story. If I have been sweating due to weather or working out, my scalp is going to be accruing dirt. This has been a godsend. This brush does an amazing job of getting my scalp squeaky clean and I don't have to be concerned about that buildup not coming off. I always loved going to the salon for a good scrub of my scalp but it can be expensive to do all the time. This makes it so much easier and I can do it every time I wash my hair. I was having some hair loss and couldn't figure out what was going on other than just stress. Since I started using this, the hair loss has stopped and I actually think my hair is growing better. I wrote an earlier review but I have been using this now for awhile and wanted to update what I said then so this is it. I am buying several more of these for stocking stuffers at Christmas. I know once they use this, they will be thanking me until next Christmas! LOL! ;-)" —KG8

This kit is a great value for the price! It came with the hoop, more than enough thread, and two needles! The printed pattern is very clear and easy to follow, and the little sheet of instructions on what stitch to use and how to do it is clear enough (and anything I don’t understand I just watch a tutorial on YouTube). A carton of Flavacol salt
    Reviewer image of buttery popcorn
    Emma Lord/BuzzFeed, www.amazon.com

Our family recently unearthed this because beloved To All The Boys I've Loved Before author Jenny Han mentioned that it was her secret to delicious popcorn, and it may have just wrecked me for other at-home popcorn for the rest of my life. It genuinely tastes just as salty and buttery and savory as fresh movie theater popcorn. I inhaled it so fast that every single one of my organs lit up in mild alarm.

Promising review: "I used to use Flavacol during my time working at an amusement park and popping popcorn for hungry guests, so I knew this was what the 'professionals' use. I am happy to report that using this does make your popcorn taste like it was just popped at a movie theater. I like to put a little bit of oil on my kernels, mix in some Flavacol, and then add it to the pot of oil on my stove top when it's hot enough (as opposed to sprinkling it on top of freshly popped corn, which I could see easily accidentally adding too much). It also means that I'm no longer loading up my popcorn with additional toppings like butter or plain salt. Yum!" —Kate R.

Reviewer using it on their scalp

Promising review: "I’ve seen these scalp massage products before but didn’t think much of them, until I visited a friend overseas and used hers. Omg I love this!! I can get pretty tense throughout the day and find it difficult to relax sometimes. I’m also one of those people who can’t really relax during a massage, until they get to my scalp. Then I melt. This product gets you that instant gratification! It won’t change your life, but it can immediately make you relax and covered in goosebumps. I just move the device around my scalp and push down. The metal arms spread out fairly easily. I use it for short periods of time whenever the mood strikes, so it’s helpful to have the two pack. You do get a little of a mess by scratching the black off but I usually have a big mess cause I end up scratching the whole thing off. Can't help it. Kid at heart I guess." —Jane

Promising review: "Not only is this puzzle exciting as a Mando fan but also as a Star Wars fan! I couldn’t wait to get started on it! Once I opened it and started piecing together the "outer rim" 😂 I was DELIGHTED to find that the puzzle pieces were a great size, not too big and not too small! Once I started on filling it in, I was MORE excited to find that it was challenging without being maddening!! Total spent four hours straight puzzling with a few smoke breaks. All in all, a GREAT puzzle for one person, or a family!!!! Put on some Star Wars or Mando and you have yourself a heck of an evening in!!!! Recommended to all!" —Tiffany Davis

Promising review: "I’m never going back to regular ponytails again. These are absolutely perfect. I’m a dancer, and I need ponytails that 1. don’t rip out my African American hair and 2. actually hold my hair in place. These are so comfortable that I’ve fallen asleep with them in, but so secure that they didn’t move an inch throughout my entire dance practice. Absolutely iconic." —Taro

    40. A headband with lil' kitty ears way more gentle for holding your hair back while you're doing your makeup or face masking than a hair tie.

Promising review: "I'M SO HAPPY WITH THIS HEADBAND!!! I'm new to the skin care game and I've been trying to make myself get into a regimen. But I have really long hair and I hate tying it up because of the creasing, and my other headbands fall down/don't hold my hair back/start to hurt after a while (the workout headbands especially don't hold back my bangs because they are essentially one pice of rubber band). This headband is cheap, cute, stays in place, doesn't damage your hair, is thick enough to keep bangs/long hair out of your face and DOESN'T HURT ... like literally one of the best things I have bought from Amazon." —Taylor

Promising review: "This was a great purchase for the price. I was making empanadas and folding them by hand, which didn’t look too good. This set helps me cut them easily into circles and then easily presses them closed. Consistent look each time! I like that there are three sizes in the set so I can make them according to my mood. Easy to wash and use. Would highly recommend for the price and functionality!" —Sox

    42. A silicone Nutella AirPods case partially to protect your tech, but mostly so you can prop it next to an actual full-sized Nutella jar and caption it, "Don't ever talk to me or my son ever again."

An AirPods case that looks like a jar of Nutella
    Amazon

Promising review: "The minute I opened the package I knew I made the right choice. This case is thick and well-made. I get so frustrated when my case falls and the AirBuds go in every direction. Couple of days ago the left ear fell out the case and a car ran over it. That cost me $69+ so I decided to take care of that issue and get a case. I purposely dropped it after I put the case in and everything was intact. I’m happy !!" —Karen
