I got a pair of these for summer runs and y'all, I live in them now. They're in my laundry pile at this precise moment and I'm mad about it. The fabric is lightly compressive but comfortable and fully pass the squat test, plus the pockets are extremely handy. I wear them to run and also with oversized shirts for a ~look~.

Promising review: "I was surprised at how well constructed these shorts were. The material was thick but breathable. The pockets are great — super deep. I can wear them on a jog without feeling like I’m at risk of a wardrobe malfunction. But they’re also sleek enough to wear under a dress without creating any weird lines." —PaulaC

Get it from Amazon for $20.99+ (available in 15 styles and sizes XS-3XL).

    2. A cooling towel that gets chilly when you soak it in water and wring it out. Plus, it keeps its chill for *hours* and will immediately get chilly again when you soak it in water and repeat the process.

Promising review: "These are very lightweight and breathable cooling towels. I use them to cool down after running in the humidity for those days where you can’t seem to stop sweating. I soak them in cold water and put them over my neck to cool off quickly and it does the trick to cool off quickly. They are good sized, and very lightweight. Good value." —Caffeinatedkate

Promising review: "These are the most comfortable bras I've ever owned. They're stretchy and provide the perfect amount of support. I love that they're soft and don't have an underwire! I decided to try these out, and I'm so glad I did. They fit like an absolute glove, and they're so comfortable. They have just enough taper to look stylish instead of like normal sweatpants, and the material is a nice breathable cottony-spandex thing that feels great for lounging or more active stuff. I would definitely buy these again." —Amazon Customer

They are very snug without pinching in uncomfortable places and the pocket is a life changer for keeping my phone close during workouts! A biker with a face covering that covers their nose, mouth, chin, and neck

Just a heads-up — as far as face mask and coverings go, this is only one layer (the CDC recommends two to three layers for full coverage). Some barrier is better than no barrier, though — just be particularly mindful about maintaining social distancing while wearing this (as you should with all mask types). You can check out BuzzFeed's rundown of the CDC's face mask guidelines for more details.

Promising review: "I tried this on and was excited to not feel any excess tightness while this covered my nose and the lower half of my face. I feel like I have an average sized head, but most face covers like this run small for a snug fit. This is very lightweight and breathable to stay cool, but will still keep the wind off your face if it is cold outside. Very versatile, as shown in the images. I ordered the dark green color and am very pleased with it. Great product, and came the day after I ordered it! A+." —HonestAbe

    12. A UPF 50+ protective running hat for shielding your face from sunburns and keeping the sweat out of your unsuspecting eyeballs.,

A lot of runners steer clear of hats because of the whole "you lose the most heat through your head" thing, but that's actually a myth! Plus this hat has bonus reflective edges for higher visibility and folds neatly, making it super packable for running adventures. Go live your hat-filled dreams.

Promising review: "This hat is lightweight and breathable. I like the size (it covers the top of my ears — YAY) and the longer brim was great to keep the hot Florida sun off my face. I've worn it running and to the beach, and it washes up beautifully despite being drenched in sweat along with smears of sunscreen. Regarding sweating — it also kept sweat from running into my eyes when running. The price point is better than I've experienced with Nike or other sports hats. I'm ordering another one today, and will donate and/or trash some of my older hats. My hair did not get tangled in the Velcro adjustable closure." —Lynn G

I got them for yoga because I had some socks with the toes cut out but hated how they moved and pinched my toes during yoga.
