    1. E.l.f.'s Poreless Putty Primer, a TikTok-famous lightweight base primer that reviewers swear by for reducing the appearance of pores and helping their makeup apply more smoothly and evenly.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

LOL, allow me to be the one to shout to GRAB THIS WHILE YOU CAN. I've been trying to snag it for weeks and thanks to TikTok, it's constantly out of stock. Now is finally our chance!

Promising review: "I actually prefer this poreless putty (pinkish in color) over the matte one (white in color). I did not use a lot, but even put it on my skin and at the end of the day when I went to wash my face, I was really impressed at how impeccable my makeup still looked and I did not use a setting spray that day. Even my family commented on how great my makeup still looked at the end of the day! I have been a HUGE fan of E.l.f. products for awhile now. I love that they are cruelty-free and so very affordable! Don't get me wrong, I spend way too much on makeup but if I find a product that represents what I stand for and there is proof in what they preach — I will be a loyal fan forever! E.l.f. Poreless Putty Primer is that for me." —PharmDMom

    Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

Hello, that is my face above, because I bought into the hype of over 133,000 5-star reviews and now I will never look back!! Putting it on is like giving my eyelashes butterfly wings. It doesn't get clumpy, it stays put ALL the livelong day (I spent all of this ridiculously hot pandemic summer wearing it, so I can speak to that), and you can apply it on very lightly if you don't want it to look so dramatic, or continue applying for longer lashes each time.

Promising review: "I've tried lots of mascara. Blown lots of money on different tubes that claim different things (i.e. length, volume, etc). But my search has ended. I'll forever buy Lash Princess as long as they don't change the recipe. This is a fantastic product. You won't regret the purchase." —S. Anderson

Unlike other hair dryers, this one can be held closer to the roots and scalp for a higher volume and lift and helps you curl hair at the end while it dries. It comes with three heat settings and is designed to work on all hair textures — reviewers with 2a through 4c hair mentioned it working for them, and especially noted that it helps cut down on drying time!

Promising review: "Oh. My. Gosh. Let me start off by saying I HATE doing my hair. It's long, straight and really fine so I just let it air dry and call it a day but that leaves it flat, frizzy and a little wavy in the back. Well I got this puppy in the mail today so immediately jumped in the shower so I could use my new drying brush and this thing is literally magic! It dried it so silky smooth and gave me so much volume. I used it on the low setting first then high and was blown away. I will forever be drying my hair this way. I feel like a hair model LOL. So basically ... just buy the thing. You won't regret it!" —Chloe512

A shampoo scalp massager you can use in the shower to massage and exfoliate your scalp, so you can get all of the relaxing decadence of feeling like someone is massaging your head without physically going to a salon. Psst — a lot of reviewers mention this has also helped with psoriasis, dandruff, and scalp tenderness!

    Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

I started using one of these a few months ago and WOWZA, it really helps you get extra mileage out of your shampoo. I have a whole lot of hair on my head so sometimes it's a struggle to feel like I've soaped up my whole scalp thorough, but this was a very effective way to spread out the suds and really get them to the roots. I was worried it might tangle in my hair, but it was totally fine on that front, too. I've noticed that my hair has been a little less greasy at the roots since I started using it. And I'm echoing a ton of reviewers here when I say it just feels reeeeeally, really nice.

Promising review: "I'd always had occasional dandruff especially in the winter months. since I've started using this I have not had ONE day with dandruff. I absolutely love this thing and will continue to use one of these forever. It really makes the scalp feel better, and combine it with a mint shampoo or conditioner and your dandruff with be gone!" —Jm

Old acne scars etc. I just took my mask off and my face LOOKS FLAWLESS. Seriously better than any medical treatment. NO RED WHATSOEVER. Looks likes my face now is so even and soft and glowing. I'm saving the serum leftover in the envelope to use at night next week. Also right after I took off the mask I FOLDED IT UP AND RUBBED IT ON MY ARMS AND LEGS. Now my legs are soft and glowing. I will use these forever!! So cheap too. Never have to pay high price for quality items Lapcos rocks!! Be sure to try other products." —angie2499

FWIW re: scars, though, this stuff really works. I had thyroid surgery a few years ago and Bio-Oil took me from looking like I'd stumbled out of the Red Wedding to virtually no detectable scar within a few months. All I did was apply it once in the morning and once at night.

Promising review: "This will forever be in my makeup bag. I use it at night before I go to bed after I wash my face. I wake up and my face is fully moisturized. I wouldn't recommend putting it on your face in the morning just because it will make your face very oily. amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "I follow a few beauty bloggers and they have mentioned these razors. I was very hesitant and didn't want stubble or have to 'shave' every day. I hated seeing all the peach fuzz in the light when I would do my make-up. I am absolutely in love with these razors! I wasn't expecting much, I just wanted the peach fuzz to go away — I never expected how smooth my skin would feel afterwards. And my make-up looks amazing now! So smooth and the powder doesn't lay on the peach fuzz anymore and make my face look powdery like it used to. I constantly touch my face and neck now because it feels so good!! The fact that it lasts two weeks is a bonus. I will forever use these! Wish I would have not waited because I love the results!" —Pak669

    Kayla Suazo / BuzzFeed

TBH, at the start of the pandemic I started using this myself (although this is BuzzFeed editor Kayla Suazo's lovely human face above), and I am mad that I wasted time with other concealers for so long. I am a deeply impatient person who likes to look good and does not like to put in effort in any way, shape, or form, and Maybelline created this so that people like me could gracelessly slap it on in the morning and be like "OKAY, REFLECTION, YOU GOT THIS" before being on their merry way. It never cakes, I look way more awake than I have any right to, and I never struggle to blend it the way I do with other concealers. 11/10 subscribe.

Promising review: "This is AMAZING. It really works better than any other under eye concealer I’ve tried. It made me look so much more awake, and blended flawlessly. Looks so natural, can’t even tell I have makeup on. Just looks like I got a great eight hour sleep! I will be buying forever." —gcassels

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "SOOOO good! These beauty blenders are perfect, so soft. I never like the name brands one, especially for the price. But I did like the Sonia Kashuk brand, they were good. But still, they were two for $10. Plus they were also sold out. But these, the Beaky 5 amazing blenders for under $20? Amazing! I love them, they are exactly what I was looking for. Comparable to any expensive blenders. Easier to clean too! I find I don't go through these as fast as any other blenders. I am obsessed. I will continue to repurchase forever!" —Emily Binuya

Promising review: "This stuff is amazing! It left my hair so soft and shiny. I never let my hair fully air dry because it gets too frizzy and fluffy-and it was maybe even more frizzy using this stuff as my hair air dried. But after I did my normal flat iron, my hair never looked so good. I replaced my normal conditioner — this gives me all the moisture I need. It is a small bottle, but I only wash my hair once every five days, so the bottle lasted me about five weeks (I have long, thick hair). I am now a forever user of this product." —B

Promising review: "After hearing about this 'miracle product,' I searched for it and Amazon was SOLD OUT! Finally, after waiting, it was back in stock and I ordered right away! It arrived and it is in powder form. You have to mix with apple cider vinegar or water, but I've personally done it with ACV. My pores looked smaller and completely clean/clear after ONE USE. My bf kept mentioning how fresh faced I looked and I haven't worn foundation at all! I am always insecure about my skin, but this is definitely a game changer after years of failed products! Will forever keep purchasing this miracle mask!" —Marcela

Promising review: "Best wax ever! Seriously, when not visiting my esthetician I use the wax strips. Lately with my full growth back it’s not enough to remove all the hairs so I decided to purchase my own hard wax. After reading reviews I went with the melted can (not the beads) and this stuff glided on so easily. I paid attention to other reviews and made sure to leave thick strips. This stuff left no irritation to my skin no matter how many times I needed to apply over the same area. Will be a forever buyer!" —Ashia Holt

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "Wow, I didn't think I'd be THIS impressed. I'd been using the ones from CosRx up until recently and ordered these on a whim because the ones from CosRx didn't seem to be working as well anymore. I love that this pack has the bigger patches for larger areas like your cheek or forehead, because seriously, it's just easier than putting 10 little round circles on your cheek sometimes — yes, I've been breaking out THAT much. Anyway, these adhere much better than the CosRx ones and pull out the gunk much more effectively. They're also a lot thinner like everyone's pictures have already shown. I can wash my face, put on my serums, lotions, oils, and then place these on top as a little protector and it stays in place! I will forever buy these as long as they make them like this." —MoLo

Before image of a cracked foot with an after image of the skin smooth
    amazon.com

Promising review: "I'm a man who has had cracked calluses so bad that if I walked barefoot I'd leave a trail of blood (sry, TMI). I've ripped bed sheets in half with my dry desert-like heels. I've tried pumice stones, electric roller things, emery boards, you name it I've tried it. They helped a little, but this things changed my life! I took a shower, dried off and started using the rasp and it just started removing everything from my foot (pain free, but don't go wild with it) with virtually no effort. Then I applied prescription moisturizer (recommended by my podiatrist) and now I have baby feet! (Only in feel, not in size.) I don't write many reviews but this rasp will now be part of my life forever, especially come winter time. Thanks Rikans!" —A.D.

Nonetheless, I was able to keep it pretty healthy until I went into the pool. Beginner's first mistake. Hours in the pool completely dried out my hair and even turned it green.
