Alicen is an urban fantasy writer, cosplayer, and crocheter who spends more time in fictional lands than in reality. She’s been passionate about writing since she was a child, and can usually be found with a notebook and pen in hand. A lover of all things nerdy, Alicen moved to Vancouver in 2014 to study film and television – and in doing so, fell into the world of cosplay. These days most of her free time is spend making cosplays, planning cosplays, thinking about cosplays, or running around dressed as either Emma Swan or Princess Leia. In 2017 she also learned how to crochet, and since then has applied it to making her other great passion in life – coffee – just that much nerdier by designing and creating crocheted coffee cup cozies based on her favourite characters.
