*whispers* Taemin's back! The SHINee member and solo artist hit everyone straight in the feelings this week with the release of his heartbreakingly beautiful single "2 KIDS."

During a recent V Live broadcast, he explained that the dreamy song is "about growing pains and depicts the story prior to the one in the album. You can think of it as a teaser before the movie." With lyrics written by Taemin, "2 KIDS" is part of his upcoming album Never Gonna Dance Again, which he says is split into two different acts: one that reveals a new side of him, and another that shows off his intensity.

"Honestly, when you listen to my songs, there are a lot of them that are more exciting or sentimental, but ['2 KIDS'] is a good song to listen to while just going about your day," he revealed. "It’s a song that can always be with you.”
