Carved pumpkin

Parchment paper

Bowl of salsa

Dry ice

1. Cut the top off a pumpkin just smaller than a serving bowl. Scoop out the inside and carve out a face with a large mouth.

2. Place the pumpkin on a large cutting board and slide a piece of triangle-like piece of parchment paper through the mouth. Secure it with a toothpick.

3. Fill the serving bowl with salsa and place on top of the pumpkin.

4. Line the parchment paper with a layer of guacamole. The jack-o-lantern should now look like it's throwing up (what a jackass, amiright). Scatter a generous amount of chips around the guacamole.

4. Place a cup of dry ice inside the pumpkin.

5. Just as the guests are beginning to arrive, lift up the serving bowl to pour water over the dry ice for a steady flow of spooky fog.

2. Bleeding Vampire Drink

1 cup water

2 tablespoons grenadine

1 tablespoon red food coloring

Plastic vampire teeth

Pipette or eyedropper

Lemon lime soda

1. Combine water, grenadine, and food coloring.

2. Using a pipette or an eyedropper, fill the inner chamber of plastic vampire teeth with the grenadine mixture.

3. Freeze the filled vampire teeth.

4. Fill a clear glass with lemon lime soda or any other clear carbonated beverage.

5. Balance the fangs of the frozen vampire teeth on the rim of the glass.

6. The grenadine ice cube will melt into the drink and slowly turn the drink red.

8 hard-boiled eggs

Large storage bag

2 tablespoons black food coloring

1 cup water

3 tablespoons mayonnaise

1 tablespoon mustard

1 tablespoon green food coloring

Black olives

1. Use a spoon and carefully create cracks on eight hard-boiled eggs.

2. Place the cracked eggs in a large bag. Add black food coloring and water.

3. Close the bag, mix around and set aside for 15 minutes. Be careful not to break the eggs further.

4. Dip the eggs in clean water to clean off the excess dye and peel to reveal the cracked design.

5. Cut the eggs in half and separate the egg yolks from the egg whites.

6. Combine the egg yolks with mayonnaise, mustard and green food coloring.

7. Pipe the egg yolk mixture into the egg whites.
