What Do You Have In Common With Leonardo Da Vinci?

The original Renaissance man could do almost anything! Which of his famous attributes do you share?

Posted on
  1. First of all, how's your family life?

Can't live with 'em, can't live without them! (Lookin' at you, Judas.)

Pretty normal, we get along and know that nobody is perfect.
I mean, my dad once said that he'll make me legitimate when I get a little older, so that's cool...
My family pays for me to continue my art, so I try to keep in their good graces.
We're not close, I consider my friends to be my real family.
  2. Which aspect of this painting are you most drawn to?

Don't forget to answer announce your answer! ;)

I see that one really weird-looking tree in the back. Just above the angel's wing? Kind of looks like those cell towers made to look like trees but actually look totally fake. Wait, did da Vinci create the first cell tower?!
I see the tiny harbor in the back with the ships. Maybe they're exploring ships! Now I want to go on a cruise.
Easy! I see Mary being told by the Angel Gabriel that she will bear God's son. This scene has been painted so many times, I could identify the annunciation like the freckles on my hand!
I see the tiny little flowers all over the bottom part of the painting. There are so many different kinds! He must have taken hours to finish all the details.
  3. Say you have a problem with your boss at work, what do you do?

We've all been there - I mean, commissioners, amirite?!

I would make sure he knew that I remembered that one time he took all the donuts from the break room and told everyone there were no donuts that day. It's not blackmail, I just have a great memory!
I would get back at him, maybe do my job but do it wrong, like forget to paint halos or something.
I am my own boss, and we both agree we're great.
I would try to talk it out, and maybe see if anyone in HR could help out. Logic wins, unless logic says that the Renaissance didn't have HR departments.
  4. How often do you think about Natural Disasters?

You can tell a lot about a person by their reaction to thunder. Their ineptitude for counting, for instance.

All the time - they are so inspiring!
Mostly when they're happening. I can never figure out where tsunamis get their power, but I have a few theories...
I'm standing in a thunderstorm as I take this quiz.
Did you know lightning never strikes in the same place twice? I've never seen it do that anyway.
  5. Can you see any differences in these two images?

And don't say that one is darker than the other!

And don't say that one is darker than the other!

I can't help it, the colors are too different for me to tell anything else apart.
The angel isn't pointing in the second one.
The angel looks out at the audience in the first one.
Obviously Mary is 100x more done with life in the first one.
  6. If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?

Your choices are: Milan, Florence, Rome, and Venice. And maybe France later on in life.

I would love to see Venice to really see how the floating city stays afloat.
I've seen all of those cities, no need to move around so much!
All of those cities sound amazing! Each, please!
I want to see beyond Italy, take me to Africa or to the East!
  7. How does the phrase "non-signifying elements of psychoanalytical theory” make you feel?

Feel free to use the dictionary.

Feel free to use the dictionary.

Intrigued - if non-signifiers exist alongside signifiers, than everything connects, just like da Vinci said!
Awkward - whoever used this phrase has psychology all wrong.
    Annoyed - I can't be labelled, don't put me in a box!
Introspective - I'm thinking deeply, ask me again later.
  8. What is your biggest source of pride and joy?

    It can be anything really.

    It can be anything really.

My books - nothing closer in friendship.
My pets - they are my favorite people.
My memories - they might be all I have someday.
My current masterpiece - though I won't show anyone until I've finished!
  9. Where are you on a scale from sincere to mysterious?

    Even the question is ambiguous...

    Even the question is ambiguous...

I don't give away all my secrets at once, but I like to let in the people closest to me.
I'm really sincere, people can tell when I'm lying.
    I'm an open book!
No one really knows me, but that's the way I like it.
  10. What are your future goals?

    Job, family, French chateau?

    Job, family, French chateau?

I go where the wind takes me!
I tend to live in the present, but there are good memories to be had in my future.
I've been planning it since I was little! First, my career, then a period of travel, then a family, then retirement in southern France!
I'd like to continue creating stuff until the world finally appreciates my art.

What Do You Have In Common With Leonardo Da Vinci?

You got: Intelligence

If you're not a neuroscientist, please at least consider looking into NASA's hiring list. Your brain power is a force to be reckoned with, and like the genius himself, maybe that makes you a little misunderstood. But that's okay! Knowledge is a strength that will always have a place in history. So keep your journals, even if you write backwards! They could be worth a fortune someday!

You got: Individuality

You might be the most Leonardesque out of everyone! You can't be contained or labeled by society's normalized ideas. If you want to learn what makes people tick, you're going to look at their insides! If you think humans were meant for more than just walking, you're going to draw up a flying machine! And if you are totally done with Italy's judgment, you get invited to France by the French king and retire in style!
