Kim Kardashian Revealed The Origins Of Her Relationship With Pete Davidson And I Did Not Realize They Hit It Off Weeks Before "SNL"

It sounds like it was pretty cute.

Almost six months after the fateful rollercoaster ride that tipped us off to Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson's then-speculated romance, we're finally starting to learn more about the couple's relationship.

As I'm sure you'll recall, our first time seeing Kim and Pete together came several weeks before their rendezvous at Knott's Scary Farm. It happened during a Saturday Night Live sketch, when they kissed — seemingly out of nowhere — right before our eyes on TV.

The moment took place in the midst of Kim's SNL hosting debut, which, it turns out, she and Pete spoke about nearly a month before taping the live show.

The two apparently crossed paths at the Met Gala last September. According to Kim, the SKIMS founder received some words of encouragement from Pete after admitting she felt apprehensive about the gig.

"I ran into Pete Davidson at the Met," Kim reportedly says in the premiere episode of The Kardashians, which drops on Hulu later this week and sees her step back in front of reality show cameras alongside Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and the rest of their family.

"I was like, 'I am so scared. I don't know what I signed up for,'" she continues, per a Page Six report.

"And he's like, 'Can you read cue cards?'" Kim adds.

    "'You're good. You're good.'"

Now, I'm just sitting here picturing Kim and Pete in their Met Ball attire while that conversation played out.

The Kardashians airs Thursday, April 14, on Hulu.
