Which Woman Should Be On The $20 Bill?

Sorry, Mr. Jackson.

Nonprofit organization, Women on 20s, is leading a campaign to change the face of the $20 bill to a woman. We decided to ask people on the street how much they actually know about the money in their pocket.

Not everyone even knows who's on the $20.

So why replace Andrew Jackson? His legacy isn't exactly stellar. HE CAUSED THE TRAIL OF TEARS for God's sake.

He signed the Indian Removal Act in 1830 that forced Native Americans out of their homelands. Obviously, the program didn't go well as thousands died as they were forced to travel to Oklahoma. Jackson also OPPOSED A CENTRAL BANK and paper money. Dude would probably hate being on a paper bill.

So who would people rather see on the $20?

The answers ranged from Whitney Houston to Justina Machado, an actress from Six Feet Under.

On Tuesday, May 12 Women on 20s announced that over 600,000 voters participated, and chose Harriet Tubman as the woman they would like to see on the $20 bill.

The petition has even been sent to Obama and he thinks it's a good idea.

Yes, Harriet!
