Let's be real, Anne Hathaway can never escape the role that made her.

Oh sure she can try with her dark turn as Fantine in Les Miserables (I dreeeeamed a dream anyone?) or her indie girl role as Rachel in Rachel Getting Married, but she will always be Mia in my heart. A love story for the ages that rivals The Notebook only in hilarity, this coming of age tale marked the beginning of my transformation from awkward girl to sassy awkward girl.

Shut up shut up shut up! What an iconic moment. You know you can relate to a character when every time they do something embarrassing you deja vu back to like last week when you did the same thing. Hello, yesterday when I fell down the stairs, I'm talking to you.

Plus my best friend is totally Lily. Pretty sure that "What the hell are you wearing?" is close cousins with "You look ridiculous, you should sue." If this bushy eyed teen can be a princess...than well that still doesn't change much for me.

Even so, I will always be down for wine nights with Princess Diaries, and if I get drunk enough Princess Diaries 2. (Come on what happened to Michael?!)
