A man who keeps getting mistaken for Ed Miliband has insisted he always takes it "as a compliment".
In the latest incident, Amirreza Tayebi, 23, was told by Nicola Sturgeon on Monday that he was the ex-Labour leader's doppelganger.
After giving a speech on the EU referendum in London, the Scottish first minister said: "There's a guy with his hand up who looks spookily like Ed Miliband over there."
BuzzFeed News caught up with him after the event. Tayebi is a politics student at Queen Mary University, London, who now runs the website Casual Politics.
He said many politicians he had interviewed for the site had commented on the resemblance. "Michael Howard and Alex Salmond both mentioned it when I interviewed them," he said.
"They asked: 'Are you related to the Milibands?' I always take it as a compliment. I think it was Ken Clarke who called me 'Miliband the third'."
Tayebi said that even his girlfriend's family sometimes got him confused with Miliband. "Once Ed Miliband was on Newsnight, and my girlfriend's mother shouted to her: 'Quick, Amir's on TV!' he said.
"And she came running but when she saw it, she told her 'that's not Amir'. She was a bit disappointed."
Tayebi, who also works part-time for London mayoral hopeful Zac Goldsmith, said he had met Miliband several times but he had never passed comment on the likeness.
Yes, he's the absolute spitting image.Give him a bacon sandwich and then we'll find out.He looks more like David to me.How do you know it's not actually Ed Miliband? You need your eyes tested, he looks nothing like him.
