Pregnant British YouTuber Nicole Thea has died aged 24 along with her unborn son.
Thea's mother announced the news on the influencer's Instagram page on Sunday afternoon, adding that Thea and her partner, Global Boga, had planned to name their baby Reign.
"To all Nicole's friends and supporters, it's with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning."
"As a family we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened," the statement went on. "My beautiful baby girl ... and my grandson Reign, I will miss you for the rest of my life."
Thea was reportedly weeks away from her due date when she died, but the cause of death remains unclear.
Thea had documented much of her pregnancy in a series of photos and YouTube videos, the most recent of which was published just minutes before her death was announced.
The video, which followed Thea behind the scenes at a pregnancy photo shoot, showed her dancing with Boga and expressing excitement over becoming a mother.
She went on to share some of the photos from the shoot alongside a caption in which she said that it had become "natural" for her to always be touching her stomach.
In the caption of photos from a different maternity shoot posted back in June, Thea wrote: "Can’t wait to meet you little man, soon to be 3 of us 💙"
Boga, real name Jeffery Frimpon, has yet to publicly comment on the deaths of his girlfriend and son. His last Instagram post was shared two days ago and showed him dancing with a pram.
"Can't wait to be taking my son to the parks & Playground," he wrote in the caption.
