Rumer Willis Left A Savage Comment On This Photo Of Shawn Mendes And Demi Moore

The comment appeared to be a reference to Moore's marriage to Ashton Kutcher.

You probably know that the Met Gala took place Monday night, with a whole host of celebrities showing up and slaying the red carpet. One such celeb was Demi Moore, who, I'm sure you'll agree, looked stunning in this black number.

Once Moore had finished posing up a storm on the red carpet, she headed inside and found herself seated for dinner next to a certain Mr Shawn Mendes.

And flouting the "no selfie" rule, she and Mendes posed for this cute snap. Moore shared it on Instagram alongside a caption saying she "loved" him.

Of course, people loved the post. But among all the Shawn stans in the comments was none other than Moore's oldest daughter, Rumer Willis.

Moore shares Rumer with Bruce Willis, her second husband, to whom she was married between 1987 and 2000.

And, proving her impeccable sense of humour, Willis left this comment.

The message was undoubtedly a reference to Moore's third husband, Ashton Kutcher, who is 16 years her junior.

Moore was 41 and Kutcher 25 when they began dating in 2003, while Willis was 13. They married in 2005 and split in 2011.

And it's pretty clear the comment was good-natured, since Willis and Kutcher have maintained a good relationship over the years. In fact, she revealed in 2009 that he was a "really great stepfather," whom she regarded as a friend.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Willis said: "I have to commend him. He's a really great stepfather. When Ashton came into our lives, he was just an extension of our family. He’s like a friend as well as a stepdad. We talk about everything — auditions, boyfriends, family. He understands more than my parents sometimes because he’s closer to my age.”

And when Kutcher became a father to his first child with his second wife, Mila Kunis, in 2014, Willis reached out to congratulate him, while he credited his stepdaughters with preparing him for fatherhood.

Speaking to Stern, Kutcher said: "I've been a parent to teenage girls before in my life. The first time I became a dad, I was 25 years old, and Demi had her three daughters. Tallulah was 8, Rumer was 13, and Scout was 9. I loved those kids like my own kids, and I helped raise them until Tallulah was 18, when we got divorced.”

Kutcher also publicly praised Willis for speaking out about her insecurities and body image struggles in 2015.

After she wrote an essay on the subject, Kutcher left a comment on Facebook reading, "It’s amazing that you’re telling your story and speaking up for other women.”

And it's safe to say that people loved Willis's comment — it currently has close to 3,000 likes.
