Kris Jenner Revealed How And Why Kim's Robbery Will Be Shown On "KUWTK"

She says Kim's retelling of the story is "remarkable and riveting".

Last month it was confirmed that details of Kim Kardashian's horrifying robbery ordeal would be included in the upcoming season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Well, Kris Jenner has given her first TV interview since the robbery last October, and revealed exactly how the incident will be covered on the show, which returns this weekend.

Speaking on The Ellen Show, Kris said: "The Paris episode is the second of Season 13 because it's in chronological order. The first episode you see, the girls are in Miami doing something with the DASH stores. Then the Paris incident happened, which was devastating."

Production on KUWTK was halted for a short while after the robbery, but Kris said that once they began rolling again, Kim found the process "therapeutic".

She said: "When we started filming again, Kim was obviously around because we practically live together on the same street. And what was coming out of [those conversations] was very therapeutic for her. We've now just started seeing some of the stuff that came out of those days, and no one can even get through the first five minutes without getting hysterical."

She went on to say viewers will see Kim tell the story of the robbery "moment by moment", and that the effect is incredibly emotional.

"She tells what happens moment by moment and it's riveting," Kris said. "It's remarkable to listen to her tell the story. I was watching it and was bawling. I couldn't even watch the whole thing it was so upsetting."

Kris went on to talk about how difficult she'd personally found the robbery.

She said: "It was such an upsetting time – something so awful happening to someone you love so much. It chokes me up every time I think about it, and every time I talk about it."

And, as if to shut down any potential criticism for including the robbery in the show, Kris explained the reasoning behind doing so.

Kris explained: "She thinks it might bring awareness. We've changed the way we live our lives and the way we take care of our kids, and my grandchildren. It's been a process."
