Yesterday, the living icon who is Kris Jenner turned 64 years old!
To celebrate, Kim Kardashian planned the most nostalgic day of all time. She rented out the family's former home, decorated their table for lunch with the same pattern that once adorned their wallpaper and hired every car that Kris owned in the '80s complete with the custom license plates.
But over on Instagram, Kris's other less-favoured daughters also wished her a happy birthday.
And Kris was quick to respond to each and every message.
"I am so in love with you," she wrote on Khloé's.
"I LOVE YOU so much!!!!" she told Kim.
Kris even commented on the tribute posts made by people who aren't related to her, including Kylie's makeup artist, Ariel...
And the family's hairdresser, Jen.
But there was one birthday message to Kris that was wholly unexpected, from none other than Caitlyn Jenner.
That's right — Caitlyn shared a photo of herself with Kris alongside a caption calling her ex-wife a "wonderful mother and businesswoman".
Now, the long-running feud between Kris and Caitlyn is well known. It began in 2015 when Caitlyn said some less-than-favourable things about her ex-wife in her first interview after transitioning.
And two years later, Kris cut all ties with Caitlyn following some pretty brutal claims in her autobiography.
However, last week, Kim and Kourtney attended Caitlyn's own birthday dinner which led to speculation that perhaps the family feud was over.
So it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to take Caitlyn's birthday tribute to Kris as proof that they've made up too. After all, this is the first time she's ever mentioned Kris on her Instagram page.
Well, unfortunately, it doesn't seem that way. Because despite acknowledging literally every other person's happy birthday message, Kris completely ignored Caitlyn's.
She didn't respond to the post. She didn't even like it. Nothing.
In fact, the only two verified celebrities who engaged with the post were Kendall and Kylie Jenner who left heart emojis.
On closer inspection, I discovered that Kris doesn't even follow Caitlyn on Instagram.
However, she was tagged in the post so presumably would have seen it.
But despite the tumbleweed around the Instagram post, Caitlyn did recently claim that she and Kris are on good terms.
Speaking on BBC Sounds, Caitlyn also backtracked the claim that her gender dysphoria played a part in their divorce.
So what is the truth? Is the feud over and Kris just missed the message, or is Caitlyn merely ~keeping up~ appearances?
