Remember when Ed Sheeran released his album and everyone was talking about the song "Don't"?
The one which featured the following lyrics:
Knock knock knock on my hotel door
I don't even know if she knows what for
She was crying on my shoulder
I already told ya
Trust and respect is what we do this for
I never intended to be next
But you didn't need to take him to bed that's all
And I never saw him as a threat
Until you disappeared with him to have sex of course
It's not like we were both on tour
We were staying on the same fucking hotel floor
And I wasn't looking for a promise or commitment
But it was never just fun and I thought you were different
The song is about an ex-girlfriend cheating on him with one of his mates.
And it wasn't long before people began speculating that those two people were fellow musicians Ellie Goulding and One Direction's Niall Horan.
Yep, that's right. ELLIE GOULDING. And NIALL HORAN.

But now Sheeran has spoken out about the song, and revealed that he has forgiven both parties for the incident.
Speaking to The Sun, Sheeran said: "I got over the anger the moment I wrote the song. It's a song that came at the time that I needed to write. That's the end of it. I'm grateful I could get a song out of it, to be honest. I don't feel it's about anyone any more, I'm not attached to that."
He concluded: "The moment you attach someone to a song it becomes more difficult to sing every night."
