Chrissy Teigen And John Legend Got Super Honest About The "Troubles" They Have In Their Marriage Hours Before Announcing Her Third Pregnancy

"We are truly grateful for our life and our lives together and our family, but everybody has troubles. Don't think you're alone in fighting with your spouse."

In case you haven't heard the news: John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are expecting their third baby!

The pair, who are already parents to Luna, 4, and 2-year-old Miles, made the announcement in John's new music video for "Wild," where they could be seen stroking her bump.

And shortly after the video dropped, Chrissy shared this video of herself on social media, joking that she was much more visibly pregnant earlier on with her third baby.

But John and Chrissy are known for their honesty, and so just hours before they announced the happy news, the pair sat down for a very real conversation about the harder parts of their marriage, revealing that they "fight" and have "communication issues" just like many other couples.

"I know people see us in these music videos and it presents us like we have the perfect life," John said in a livestream to promote "Wild." "We are truly grateful for our life and our lives together and our family, but everybody has troubles. Don't think you're alone in fighting with your spouse."

"We have to communicate with each other just like every couple does. We fight sometimes just like every couple does," he added.

"We have the same communication issues as other people," Chrissy went on, "Because I don't like to talk about work with him, and that can cause problems."

"I don't like to hear the things he loves to talk about," she added. "He loves to talk about schedules and work and I don't want to hear it. It's just about being open."

John went on to say that while they have "very different communication styles," the pair have figured out how to adapt to fulfil what the other needs.

"We grow together. We go to therapy and do all those things too," he added. "[We] try to take care of each other and be responsive to each other's needs."

Well, they seem to be doing a pretty phenomenal job!
