It was the most popular search term on Google ever at the time, but there wasn’t an image search option. So, Google images was created.

2. And YouTube would never exist if it weren't for Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction at the 2004 Super Bowl.

One of the creators of YouTube had missed the show and was unable to find any videos of the incident online. So he and his friends began working on code for a website which would allow users to upload their own videos. The site ended up being YouTube and launched shortly afterwards.
