Kristen and Dax may have been married with children since 2013, but things almost didn't work out that way. In fact, three months into their relationship, Dax called things off with Kristen because he wanted to continue dating other people. Kristen revealed that his confession made her "liquify and fall to the ground," but she felt "respected" that he'd told her the truth. Four days later, however, Dax realised his mistake and called her saying: "I don't know what I was thinking. I was dating someone else but they're just not as interesting as you, and I don't know what I'm doing." And the rest is history.

William and Kate got together during university and their relationship lasted four years before they split in 2007. Speaking during their first ever join interview to mark their engagement, Kate confirmed that it was William who ended things. "I wasn't very happy about it," she revealed, but went on to say that she "learned a lot" about herself from the time apart. Luckily William realised he was destined to be with Kate after all and the pair got back together later that year, married in 2011 and now have three children.

The start of this Game of Thrones love affair was extremely off-and-on.
