You probably know that Game of Thrones came to an end last night, after nine years and eight seasons.
And while the events of the finale blew up the internet with many divisive opinions, the cast were taking to social media to pay tribute to the show and its fans. Here's what they had to say.
Sophie Turner shared this photo of the cast alongside a caption paying tribute to the show. She wrote: "To the show and the incredible people who make it, thank you for giving me the best life and drama lessons I could have ever asked for."
Gwendoline Christie made reference to the shocking events of the finale with this photo and caption: "BEING TOLD THE ENDING TO @gameofthrones 🖤⚔️"
Lena Heady posted a tribute to her character, Cersei Lannister. She wrote in the caption: "Now her watch is ended (I know she’d never make it, Nights watch wouldn’t have her..but still..)"
"The mother of dragons...has taken up the whole of my heart," Emilia Clarke wrote in her post. "I've sweated in the blaze of dragon fire, shed many tears at those who left our family early, and wrung my brain dry trying to do Khaleesi and the masterful words, actions and names I was given, justice."
And Jason Momoa, who played her on-screen husband, left a comment saying he was "so proud" of her.
John Bradley shared this photo of his rehearsal schedule from 2010. He said in the caption: "Listed here is the rehearsal where I first met Kit, and the first time I wore the costume that’s seen me through 8 seasons. I’m glad I kept this. I met so many people that week who have come to mean so much to me."
And Lena Headey left a comment of broken heart emojis.
"It’s been one of my greatest joys playing Missandei of Naath," Nathalie Emmanual wrote. "The quiet and kind translator. A brilliant woman who overcame so much suffering and found herself, her voice...and her one and only love."
Lena Headey and John Bradley left comments praising her "brilliant" and "amazing" acting abilities.
Jacob Anderson shared photos from his first and last day of filming. "Thank you to everybody that cared about [Grey Worm] and rooted for him," he wrote in the caption. "He was really scared at first, but you made him feel loved. He appreciates it. I asked him."
And Emilia Clarke and Nathalie Emmanuel left cute comments.
Kristofer Hivju posted a photo of his onscreen wife and his IRL wife alongside a caption reading: "Homage to Gwendoline Christie for her brilliant performance as the warrior, the knight and the beautiful human being Brienne Of Tarth."
And Gwendoline hopped in the comments to say she "loved" and "missed" him.
Joe Dempsie wrote: "Playing Gendry over 5 seasons has been a joy, and I can’t thank you lot enough for taking him to your hearts - and being patient while he took 3 years to find his way round a set of oars."
Vladimir Furdik, the actor and stunt man behind the Night King said simply: "Enjoy the latest episode of the final season."
Pilou Asbæk shared the promotional poster for the first ever season of the show alongside a caption reading: "Where it all began....!!!"
Liam Cunningham revealed it had been an "extraordinary" ride.
And Maisie Williams went online after the episode had aired to look at all the memes.
