Blac Chyna has filed an application to own the rights to the name “Angela Renee Kardashian" after announcing she is pregnant with her fiancé Rob Kardashian.
Blac Chyna, real name Angela Renee White, filed the application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on May 3. If approved, she would secure rights to use the name for "entertainment services, namely, live, televised, and movie appearances," as well as for brand promotion.
Trademark application approvals can take between three months and year depending on their complexity. Chyna's representative did not immediately respond to BuzzFeed News' request for comment on or elaborate on the application.
Her attorney, Walter Mosley, also represents Amber Rose.
On Friday, Chyna and Rob Kardashian announced they are expecting their first child, one month after going public with their engagement.
But there's a long history of drama between Chyna and the Kardashians. It was pretty clear the family wasn't exactly over the moon about the couple's engagement – and have yet to comment publicly on it.

But a recent Snapchat from Kylie Jenner seemed to suggest that she and Chyna had made up.
When the pregnancy was announced, the internet went into meltdown, with many jokingly hypothesizing that the whole situation has been carefully engineered by Chyna.
That theory was only inflamed when Amber Rose – Chyna's BFF and Kanye West's ex-girlfriend – shared this image on Instagram on Mother's Day.
It's also been pointed out that because Rob is the only male in the family, only his baby will be a true Kardashian by name – and Chyna will be the only woman with the surname if Kourtney and Khloé get married.
A representative for the Kardashian family did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
