The pair came to [blows](https://www.buzzfeed.com/benhenry/nicki-minaj-cardi-b-drama) during a New York Fashion Week party, where Cardi approached Nicki to discuss a tweet she’d allegedly liked which appeared to criticise Cardi’s parenting skills. Things escalated with Cardi reportedly throwing her shoe at Nicki before being escorted from the venue. Since then, both rappers have been publicly calling each other out, with Cardi accusing Nicki of deliberately sabotaging her career and Nicki describing Cardi as “angry and sad.”

After discovering she’d reached number two, Nicki hit out on Twitter claiming that Travis had stolen the chart position by selling merchandise that contributed to his sales, and suggested that he’d used Kylie Jenner and Stormi as marketing ploys. Nicki later clarified that she “fucking loves” Kylie, but neither Travis nor his girlfriend have commented on her claims.

Although the Kim Kardashian/Taylor Swift feud appeared to end last year, the singer seemed to drag things up again when she embarked on her world tour in May. During an interview promoting her new movie in which she plays a popstar, Natalie Portman mentioned the strange period in the early ‘00s when female stars were expected to be both virginal and sexual in the images they projected, citing Jessica Simpson as an example. Jessica then [hit back](https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/michaelblackmon/jessica-simpson-natalie-portman) with an Instagram post in which she said she was “disappointed” by Natalie’s comments and “encouraged” her not to shame women. Natalie went on to clarify that her words weren't meant as a direct attack on Jessica, but rather a comment on the media’s mixed messages as a whole. Jessica is yet to respond.

After Khloé Kardashian’s boyfriend and baby daddy was [accused](https://www.buzzfeed.com/michellerennex/khloe-noooo?utm_term=.oeG01yLgP#.wcwEXxD81) of cheating on her, Kim Kardashian was the first of the family to speak out. She appeared on _The Ellen Show,_ branding Tristan’s actions “fucked up.” He swiftly unfollowed _and_ [blocked](https://www.buzzfeed.com/elliewoodward/kim-kardashian-found-out-tristan-thompson-blocked-instagram) her on social media, causing her to do the same. Only when Khloé begged Kim to at least attempt to get along with Tristan did she back down, and eventually he unblocked her on Instagram.

The [feud](https://www.buzzfeed.com/stephenlaconte/pop-your-popcorn-cuz-the-stars-of-sex-and-the-city-are) between Kim Cattrall and the rest of the _Sex and the City_ cast is well-known, but this year things really escalated between her and Sarah Jessica Parker. After Kim’s brother was found dead in February, Sarah Jessica expressed sympathy in an Instagram comment before giving an interview in which she said she was sending “her love and condolences” to the family. Kim then took to Instagram, [posting](https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/juliareinstein/kim-cattrall-just-blasted-sarah-jessica-parker-for) a message rejecting her condolences and branding her both a “hypocrite” and “cruel.” She finished off her comment by saying: “Let me make this VERY clear. You are not my family. You are not my friend. I am writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your “nice girl” persona."

After Piers Morgan [criticised](https://www.buzzfeed.com/stephenlaconte/ariana-grande-piers-morgan) both Ellen DeGeneres and Little Mix in the space of a couple of days, Ariana Grande’s mother Joan weighed in to defend the stars. However, in response to her tweet, Piers said that both Little Mix and Ariana use “nudity” to sell their records. So, Ariana stepped in to tell Piers that women are multifaceted and are able to be both “sexual and talented, naked and dignified,” before adding that perhaps one day he could find “other ways to go about making [himself] relevant” than “criticising young, beautiful, successful women.”

The [feud](https://www.buzzfeed.com/benhenry/cardi-b-jameela-jamil-detox-tea) kicked off when Jameela took aim at celebrities who promote detox teas on their Instagram accounts, branding them “laxative nonsense” and calling out Cardi B in particular. In the post, Jameela said she hoped Cardi, and other celebs like her, would “shit their pants in public” for promoting the products. Cardi went on to respond that she would “never shit [her] pants” because there are “public bathrooms everywhere” — and bushes, too.
