While filming Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Alan Rickman pulled a truly epic prank on co-star Daniel Radcliffe.
Rickman teamed up with Michael Gambon (Dumbledore) and director Alfonso Cuarón to get Radcliffe during a scene where all the Hogwarts students are sleeping on the floor of the Great Hall.
"Dan had asked us to have his sleeping bag next to this particular girl that he fancied," Cuarón said in a behind-the-scenes interview.
So they moved Radcliffe's sleeping bag... and put a remote-controlled fart machine inside it.

Rickman tried to keep a straight face. He really did.
But even the combined powers of Snape and Dumbledore are no match for fart-based humor.
Radcliffe might have been embarrassed at first, but he couldn't fail to see the hilarity of this truly outstanding prank.
During a Reddit AmA in October 2014 — 11 years after Azkaban's filming — Radcliffe said that it was the best prank pulled on the HP set.
"I immediately thought: This is one of the other kids fucking around, and we were going to get in trouble. But as it turns out, it was one of the members of Britain's acting royalty."
Rickman remained proud of the prank, bringing it up during an appearance on The Tonight Show in June 2015.
Well played, sir. One of the many reasons you shall be missed.
