Personal Identity - Ella

Personal identity will and can always change, This could be your interests, becoming more confident over time or even your new favourite colour. Your personal identity is never the same as someone else's. Your personal identity is unique and only belongs to you. Although your identity can be influenced by other people and sources, at the end, you are the only one who is in charge of it and owns it. Especially in our generation, with ever-changing technology and our society becoming more reliant on technology in the pandemic, our identity is more prone to change which isn't a bad thing!

Behaving differently in different contexts doesn't mean you're insane - your personal identity is different in different situations naturally. For example, I speak a different language at home, which affects my identity physically and emotionally since different languages have different contexts which relate to others in different ways. Your identity can change at school, home, work, with friends and when feeling overwhelming emotions, simply because our identity can still be explored, especially at our ripe ages although identity has the same weight whether you're one or one hundred, white or black, man or female.

Is it normal for people to behave differently in different contexts and environments?

Your physical identity revolves around your physical appearance, your race, how others think of you and your physical continuity. Physical Identity differentiates you from other people at first sight.
Your emotional identity relates to the relationships you have with different people and how you feel towards different people and things. It also includes your emotional temperament.
Your mental identity regards your mental ability, your talents, goals and abilities and your mental strength. Your mental identity doesn't only mean how smart you are - it can be lots of other things. Your personal identity involves your personality and your personal beliefs such as your culture, political opinions and religion. How you think of yourself is also your personal identity.

They are ambitious, determined, materialistic and strong. They will keep going when others would've given up ten miles back. This makes them great partners in life, as well as friends or collaborators. Capricorns tend to keep small circles, but are loyal and supportive of their friends and loved ones.
