    1. A sleeveless racerback bodysuit to help you get the coveted tuck for a smooth look with your jeans without having to actually skillfully tuck in your shirt. Yes, it's possible to wear a bodysuit EVEN IF you are a sweaty person.

Promising review: “Absolutely LOOOOOVE this body suit!! I saw that it was a dupe for Skims and I’m too poor to buy Skims, and this did not disappoint😍. It fit me perfectly, and the top was double lined so I didn’t even need to wear a bra and the chi chis were still lookin good. I’m also a very sweaty person and this didn’t show any sweat stains at all!!!” —Gabby Oppenheim

Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in sizes S–XXL and 18 colors).

    2. A two-piece set will be your new weekend go-to for the rest of the summer. (And maybe even early fall with a moto jacket.)

Promising review: "I am so obsessed with this set! I own it in orange (gorgeous shade!) and loved it so much that I ordered the teal — the teal is darker than depicted and is more of an emerald color so I’ll likely be exchanging for a different color. The material doesn’t have much stretch and feels similar to linen; it’s super lightweight and perfect for summer — the side slits on the pants allow for great airflow and make this outfit heat- and humidity-approved. I wore it in Charleston during a heat wave and didn’t sweat to death, so you can take my word for it." —Alexa Healy

Get it from Amazon for $30.99+ (available in sizes XS–XL and in 15 colors).

    3. A tie-dye maxi dress you can don on the couch, then show off while you pick up your farmers market haul on the hottest day of the year.

Promising review: "I love these sandals. I can walk in them all day long and they are the most comfortable sandal that I have ever owned. They run true to size not too short and not too long. My feet have a tendency to sweat in the summer and if the bed of my sandals are smooth, my feet slip in them. With these sandals I do not have that problem." —Jim Nelson

Get them from Amazon for $51.37+ (available in sizes 4–14.5 and 46 colors).

    6. A reviewer-beloved pair of high-waisted biker shorts that are only lightly compressive so you'll move and groove in all sorts of ways without worrying about literally sweating your butt off.

Promising review: "I’m getting back into running again and these actually stay up and place the thighs don’t rub together or ride up. I love the pockets. I just had two babies in two years and I am almost four months postpartum with my second child. I live in Florida and it’s hard I enjoy running so long leggings are becoming out of the question for me. I don’t like short shorts and these are just absolutely perfect as far as length and fit goes. The material is great as far as sweating and see-through goes. I would definitely recommend the shorts as either activewear or even to lounge around the house in." —J L

Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in women's sizes XS–3XL, three lengths, and in 44 colors).

    7. Or a pair of compressive printed biker shorts to stay put while you're running, sweating through a HIIT class, or just trying live your dang life in this heat.

Promising review: "I wore these for a run. They rode up a little, but stayed enough that I did not worry about getting chub rub during my run. The white is not sheer and also did not show the massive amount of sweat that I had worked up during my workout. I will be buying these in every color!" —Rianna S. Hansen

Get them from Amazon for $18.99+ (available in women's sizes XS–XXL and in 17 colors and patterns).

    8. A cute V-neck dress as the perfect throw-on-and-go option when it's too hot to think but you've gotta go outside and look presentable. Reviewers say it's the perfect travel dress.

Promising review: "Love this dress! It is more of a rayon type material than the linen look in picture. I can see my silhouette in sunlight through the material but it does not show undergarments. I wore on plane to Key West and then walked all around in blazing heat but stayed cool with no sweat marks showing! It comes just above my knee. Plan on ordering more colors. The brick red is more of a burnt orange, which is a beautiful color." —stuartgirl

Get it from Amazon for $27.98+ (available in sizes S–XL and in 21 colors).

    9. A wide-brim Panama hat to keep your precious noggin sun-safe while you stroll around ancient ruins, take in a market, or just sip your drink by the resort pool.

Promising review: "Perfect hat. I have been searching for the perfect hat and I’ve finally found it. This even comes with a plastic mold to keep its shape while you are storing it or traveling with it. I’ve gotten it soaked in the pool and it dried beautifully. I live in Florida, wearing hats is usually SO sweaty and hot. This one doesn’t make me sweat and keeps all the sun off my face and chest. I wear it almost daily now." —Qui Carp

Get it from Amazon for $24.99+ (available in sizes M–L and eight colors).

    10. A spaghetti strap maxi that'll scream "I'M ON VACATION" even if you're just making a grocery store run and spending a little *too* long in the frozen food aisle.

Promising review: "I've had this dress for about a month now. I could tell from the photos and reviews that it would be open in the bust area, exposing the sides, so I intended to wear this with a black camisole or tank. It blends with the dress beautifully! I even wore it for Total Solar Eclipse viewing, and it was a HOT beautiful day😎...until Totality😜. Black dresses usually absorb heat, but I was cool and comfortable even though I was sweating everywhere, this dress did not show it. It seems my sweat evaporated. ALSOOO, traffic was the Twilight Zone! What should've been a 5.5-hour trip home, it took us 10 hours due to traffic and this dress did not let me down! I ❤ this dress!" —Shauna G

Promising review: "Bought these on a whim to have for work to keep the sweat out of my eyes. Very cute, nice pops of color for my dark work outfits. But they work beautifully for moisture wicking so far. I've worked hard enough in the heat to where it looks like I have taken a shower and my shirt is soaked and I can wring the sweat from my ponytail. Gross, yes I know but that's my reality and my job demands it. But so far since I've been using these no sweat has burned my eyes and has keep my shirt much more dry than it has been, even my hair is less damp. They stay put for eight hours and work very well under hats and with safety glasses. I was worried, never had any luck with headbands figured I'd have to pass these on to my daughter. But I love these. They work for my daily eight-hour shifts." —ky

I'm a VERY naturally sweaty person. Seriously, it's like I can see a hot weather forecast and I start sweating despite being indoors in frigid AC. And that goes double when wearing a face mask while walking outside.

I packed this for an Italy trip last year knowing that I'd be going in lots of churches and religious sites that required wearing a face mask and having your shoulders and knees covered, and I pulled it off with this by merely slipping the sleeves up higher (as seen on the right when visiting the church with The Mouth of Truth from A Roman Holiday...turns out I'm NOT a liar after all). But I owned this dress months before I touched down in Rome and have been racking up compliments from strangers on the streets of NYC thanks to this frock. ("Thanks! It's from Amazon!') It washes well, is super lightweight despite having a very thin (also cotton) slip layer, and is very easy to wear with a regular bra. The only thing it *doesn't* have is pockets. But I'll make an exception for this comfy beaut.

Get it from Amazon for $32.99 (available in sizes XS–XL and eight colors).

    21. A gingham puff-sleeve dress you'll be sad you didn't own until after clicking *add to cart* after reading this story. The material makes it super forgiving in hot weather...and for any vacations where you're packing as much as possible into a carry-on.

I also brought this dress along on vacation to Italy as the season was changing from summer to fall, and it was sorta hard to figure out how to dress for the day. I wore this unlined (but NOT see-through...even in daylight) dress to The Vatican (yes it fit the dress code) where most parts of the museum are not air-conditioned. It was so comfy for gallivanting around and long enough for me to sit on a random step on a bridge to give my old dogs a rest. It made for a dramatic, but not TOO dramatic, look in photos I'll cherish forever. If you're looking for a way to wear something nightgown-adjacent in public but still look quite put-together, this dress is for you.

Get it from Amazon for $30.99 (available in sizes S–XL and nine colors).

    22. A sleeveless cami long dress with pockets and cooling slits...really the best of both worlds!

reviewer wearing a black and white striped dress

Promising review: "This is probably my favorite summer dress I’ve ever owned! It’s stylish and comfortable. Lightweight but not sheer. Has pockets! Never stuck to me once, even sweating my butt off in the Belize jungle. Not too long, which can be hard for me to find at 5’4”. Has slits on both sides, but not too high at all. Washes well. Can easily be dressed up or down. I am ordering this again in at least 4 other colors/ patterns, and plan on living in these all summer." —Bridget Murphy

    23. Some huarache sandals that'll be SO comfy you could wear them every day while sightseeing or just running errands without your old dogs sweating up a storm. I've stomped around them in Europe for all sorts of sightseeing and even wore them on the sweatiest excursion of my life, a recent cave tour in Grand Cayman.

Macarena Collection is a Buena Park, California-based shop that specializes in Mexican-made shoes and embroidered clothing.

I have these huaraches from the shop and, I swear, they are the comfiest shoes I've ever worn straight out of the box. On my first day of wearing them, I walked about 40 city blocks with no pain, blistering, or rubbing. Zilch! I basically live in them now and, they're my go-to summer travel shoe thanks to the major air flow, comfy sole, closed toe (that's great for hiding aged-out pedicures). I recently went on a weekend trip to Grand Cayman and decided to visit the Crystal Caves. I thought, "Caves! They'll be nice and cool!" Nope. I wore a gray T-shirt and looked like I'd swam wearing my clothes because it was so dang humid. But my feet were fine and cool thanks to these shoes. My friends and I took group pics in the caves that they refuse to send me because they don't want them on IG. We were sweating *that* badly. TL;DR, these shoes kept my feet cool like I was basically one of the monsters from The Descent.

Get them from Macarena Collection on Etsy for $39.82 (available in sizes 5–10).

    24. A pair of sports sunglasses made to stay put while you're running and sweating up a storm. Or just sitting there sweating up a storm.

Promising review: "LITERALLY THE BEST SHADES IVE EVER HAD. I’ve owned Oakley’s and coastas all the top sunshades and these are the best I’ve used. They fit right on the nose and don’t move even when your sweating. They come with a nice hard case and a somewhat satin protective case, also the glasses holders so you don’t lose in the water them if your fishing. Well worth the money." —detione
