    1. Gobble promises to help you make your meals in a mere 15 minutes in one pan, which is welcome news for anyone who's short on patience and hates washing dishes. (I err more on the side of 20 minutes, personally, as a total klutz. But that is still quick.)

    Elizabeth Lilly / BuzzFeed

    Behold my beautiful shrimp dish that I whipped up in a mere 20 minutes when I tried Gobble. Even my southern mama (a tough critic who often feeds me veggies in fritters and bread) raved about it! The packing of individual ingredients were easy to open (not always the case with meal kits!) and there was plenty of the marinade left to drizzle over my plated lunch. I rarely have dressing/sauces/condiments left over in meal kits because I like my food *really* saucy. So this was a wonderful little side benefit! Did I mention that this was my first time marinating shrimp? And this was probably only my third time actually even cooking shrimp! It also made two generous servings of lunch, even though my mom had mentally prepared to have to maybe fix herself something else for lunch. So score one for Gobble in comparison to basically other meal kit I've tried.

    Meal types offered: lean and clean (aka, 600 calories or less), classic, or vegetarian

    What does it include? Prepped ingredients (think chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients) arrive done for you, so you can whip up that meal quickly.

    Where is it delivered? The continental US, except Montana with limited service in Nebraska and New Mexico.

    a smoothie, matcha latte, bowl of soup, grain bowl, flatbread, and cookie dough bites
    Daily Harvest

    If Daily Harvest sells it, I've tried it (and really loved it). Their latest venture isn't a complete meal kit, *but* mylk (aka almond or almond and vanilla milk) that you can get frozen in cubes for easier storage. Come on, that's just genius and total bait for a creature of convenience like me.

    Meal types offered: smoothies, mylk, harvest bowls, flatbreads, soups, oat bowls, chia bowls, scoops, bites, and lattes

    What does it include? Frozen ingredients in the cups or containers seen here (excluding a liquid like water or your fave type of mylk if your smoothie or soup requires it) in a box with a dry ice pack. 9. HelloFresh has lots and lots of stellar reviews on the internet (and as you and I both know, people do NOT hold back on the internet), and the level of satisfaction likely has to do with each recipe undergoing 200 test runs before it's shipped to customers.

    @hellofresh / Via instagram.com

    I'm currently one-box deep into a subscription of HelloFresh and find it super flavorful and not too much trouble. (IDK how many times I can emphasize that I'm not too great in the kitchen.) I love using it as a way to catch up on my true-crime podcasts while I'm not looking at a screen!

    I've also had the pleasure of trying out this meal kit. I found the meatless bowls pretty filling for lunch, though I had to season it more to my personal liking.
