    1. A curl-reactivating spray for less than your morning latte at the ~cool~ coffee shop just off campus to help you get that extra sleep time after your late-night library sesh. Seriously, skipping washes just makes curly hair look *so* much better., Amazon

Promising review: "I use this spray for exactly what it calls for, reactivating. Normally I have to re-wet and cowash my curls every day because I have fine shoulder length hair and sleep like a monster. Now I can shower the night before, cowash, comb, and go to bed. When I wake up, my hair looks a mess BUT all I do is a light water spritz and a few sprays of this product and I'm all set. After air drying the result is light frizz free waves. It is such a time saver!!" —beth

Get it from Amazon for $4.07.

    2. A stylish floppy hat you can use to still pull of a LEWK without having to get up early enough to wash your hair. Save those Zzzzs while ya' can!

Get it from Amazon for $26.99 (available in 10 colors).

    3. Satin pillowcases in a range of colors to match your dorm room bedding. They're super cool for anyone who likes the ~cool side~ of the pillow and will help retain moisture in your skin and hair, unlike those cotton pillowcases you thought were perfectly fine up until now. Lies! Oh, and they'll also *significantly* help reduce frizz.

Yes, these will give you similar results to silk pillowcases, just without the hard-to-wash factor. I have a set of these in "Dark Gray" and adore them. I even pack them when I go on vacation so I know my hair will be smoother, despite whatever hotel pillowcase situation I may be dealing with. At home, I have several sets of pillowcases and rotate them out weekly (at least). I can tell a difference in the level of frizz in my hair between when I sleep on these or cotton pillowcases. Also when you sleep on these, you don't wake up with lines on your face... as a side/stomach sleeper, I'm forever waking up with lines on my face from cotton pillowcases!!!

Get them from Amazon for $9.99 (available in four sizes and 14 colors).

    4. A four-pack of criss-cross headbands that'll steal the show from your messy bun you just did while you still had sleep in your eyes.,

Get them from Amazon for $9.89 (available in five color combos).

    5. A glitzy sea salt spray that just might distract your TA from how much you've actually been discussing all that required reading in this week's recitation. (A little shimmer never killed nobody.)

    Free People

Promising review: "WOW!! I love this so much!! My baby fine/thin/overall limp hair is suddenly full of body and shine without being sticky/greasy or weighed down in the slightest! It bounces and feels soft to the touch and the subtle gold shimmer is soooo pretty in the sunlight! Zero complaints, my hair has honestly never looked better!! Please never stop making this product!!" —Anthroplogie Reviewer

Get it from Free People for $28.

BTW, I'm a huge fan of the brand's plain Sea Salt Refresh Spray!

    6. Or a plain ole' sea wave texturizing spray for an intentional-looking boost for your bed head.

Promising review: "I think it’s safe to say that this works! I was a bit skeptical at first but I’m blown away at the look the first time I used it. I think if I had used the shampoo and conditioner that’s meant to go with it, it would look even cooler. And for such a good price here, this is so worth it. Feels great, smells sweet but not too strong. Definitely will get another bottle once my first runs out (I’m gonna use it so much ). <3" —Alex

Get it from Amazon for $8.99.

    7. An adorable water-resistant shower cap you can keep stashed with your shower caddy so those weird-ass hall dorm showers with showerheads that spray everywhere don't turn your third-day-hair 'do into a wash day.

I own this shower cap and it's a huge step above any other shower cap! It's adorable, made of super resilient materials, and most importantly STAYS. PUT.

Promising review: "I almost didn’t buy because of the price but am so glad I did! This cap stays in place and doesn’t let any hair sneak out. It also keeps the air protected and humid free so my hair doesn’t look like I just left a steam room. Would buy again!" —Amazon Customer

It might cost a little extra, but it's worth it. My dad has some Carhartt apparel. Needless to say, I pick up on his dressing style when it comes to dressing down for cold weather." —collegechick4life

Get an eight-pack from Amazon for $7.99.

    16. A soft coiled hair tie that won't leave a dent in your hair like OG elastics — which will really come in handy if you're like me or Violet Baudelaire and do your best work with your hair up and out of your face.

Promising review: "I’m obsessed with these! I have thick curly hair so rubber bands and the ribbon elastics always dent my hair. Even when I straighten my hair, those type of hair ties also dent my hair. With these coils, my hair is secure whether it’s straight or curly. When I remove it, my hair is easily fixed back into place. These do stretch out after you use it for a while, but it is easily fixed. If you blow dry them, the heat will cause it to shrink back to its original size and it is as good as new!" —Stephanie S.

    Get a four-pack from Amazon for $5.99.

    17. A hair claw because IT'S THE '90s! (No it's not! But play along!) And you betta believe that a hair claw that can hold the weight of a water bottle(??) can handle your dry shampoo–laden hair.

Promising review: "I LOVE this clip! It's the only clip large and strong enough to hold my long, thick hair. The shape is great and contours to the shape of the head. I highly recommend." —Aim

Get it from Amazon for $6.99 (available in nine colors).

    18. Or a shell hair claw to transform your tangled locks into something worth of a mermaid princess.

Get it from Amazon for $9.99.

    19. A hair repair serum that'll quickly smooth over all the rough bits and split ends while you calculate how much time you'll probably spend in the library this weekend.

Promising review: "I found this product through a BuzzFeed article for those with frizzy hair and THIS PRODUCT DID NOT DISAPPOINT, PEOPLE! I put this serum through the ringer; I got this to stand up to Bay Area fog AND the nasty, humid heat wave we got a couple weeks ago. No frizz, no extra curls. Nothing! On top of that, it made my hair super glossy. I'm very impressed. Heads-up though, a little goes a long way. One pump is enough to cover my hair and I have medium-length hair. Also, it can make your hair look oily if you use too much. I do have oily hair so working on my ends first then working to my roots works for me." —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $11.99.

I have a lot of fine hair that can look a bit greasy after one day, but this stuff makes my hair look like it was just washed. And the smell is great! Go for it!" —Em

    21. Or a mattifying/volumizing powder in case you've found that dry shampoo alone doesn't quite cut it for lifting up your days-dirty mane. Dirty hair doesn't mean you have to wear it in a ponytail!

Promising review: "This is some magic powder right here. It. The perfect thing to use when you have but oily and thin hair. It's been five days since I washed my hair and it still looks as awesome as it did the first day!! At the this point, any other dry shampoo/mattifying powder would've made my hair look awful and flat. And it's AMAZING at volumizing my hair. I wear hair extensions and this stuff really helps hide it and keep the clips from slipping off. I also posted a picture of what the REAL product looks like. Make sure you compare it if you think you got a fake one!" —Julie T.

Getting out of the shower, I wrap my hair in this towel while I get dressed and I no longer have to worry about my hair completely drenching my shirt as soon as i take it out of the towel. It really dries it to a manageable level of dryness in just a minute or two." —AubriSnowe
