"Love Island"'s Molly-Mae Hague And Tommy Fury Are Engaged – Here Are 6 Other Celeb Proposals We Can't Get Enough Of

The it-couple finally said "yes"!

Four years after being runner-ups in their Love Island series, Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have announced their engagement.

The couple paired up in the 2019 series of Love Island, and quickly became fan favourites, particularly after their emotional reunification after Casa Amor.

Tommy proposed during the couple's trip to Ibiza, and Molly-Mae posted the *most* romantic video to her Instagram.

Surrounded by a mass of white roses, and joined by their daughter, Bambi, who the pair welcomed in January, the cliffside setting provided the dreamiest of backdrops for this heart-warming proposal.

Now that we're all feeling just a tad emotional, we've rounded up some of our favourite and most memorable times a celeb popped the question...

1. Idris Elba and Sabrina Dhowre

The actor got down on one knee during a private screening of his film Yardie, with which he made his directorial debut. In an interview with Ellen, Idris revealed that his original proposal plan fell through: "it was like two days before Valentine’s and I had this ring in my pocket – it was burning a hole. Then Valentine’s came and she had to fly somewhere, so there was a likelihood I wasn’t going to see her." The actor explained his decision to propose at the screening: "I made this movie, and Sab was on the set every day. She knew the whole crew". Adorable!

2. Miles Teller and Keleigh Sperry

The couple were on an African safari when Miles planned to propose. In an interview on Live With Kelly And Ryan, the actor said, " I had our game guide early in the morning tie a rose to a tree [then we] walked up to this nice scenic vista [and had] coffee." Miles had the guide write a note that had the day they  started dating on as well as the date of the proposal.  It read, "this is the day you became my girlfriend and today was the last day you woke up as my girlfriend.”

3. Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly

Potentially one of the most ubiquitous celebrity pairings today, the couple got engaged during a trip to Puerto Rico. In a post on Instagram, Megan wrote "we asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time" followed by "and just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.…and then we drank each other's blood." It's certainly one way to show your commitment.

4. Marc Jacobs and Charly Defrancesco

Designer Marc Jacobs proposed to Charly Defrancesco via a flash mob in Chipotle. Yup, an actual Chipotle. The flash mob performed "Kiss" by Prince as Marc got down on one knee. There was speculation that this was a sponsored ad, but Chipotle revealed they had nothing to do with the proposal. I just hope they got a lifetime supply of free food, TBH.

5. Heidi Klum and Seal

Although the couple are no longer together, this proposal is definitely one of my personal favourites. Seal flew Heidi to the top of a 14,000ft glacier in British Columbia to pop the question "in an igloo built just for this moment", according to People. This proposal would never receive a frosty reception (sorry).

6. Ludacris and Eudoxie Agnan

In 2014, the rapper proposed to his girlfriend Eudoxie as they flew to Costa Rica on their private jet. Ludacris had spelled out "Eudoxie will you marry me" in blue lights on the ground, and rightfully received a "HELL YES" from his now wife.
