Hey, I'm Liz! I often find myself (and my bank account) getting sucked into the newest skincare crazes, like the time I tried slugging:
My main skin concern has always been redness, so you can imagine the sheer excitement I felt when the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair colour correcting treatment appeared on my FYP. As soon as I saw it, I was mesmerised and had to try for myself.
First of all I need to show you just how tiny the jar is (so cute) – but believe me when I say, a little goes a long way!
First impressions are important – and yes, it really is that green!
I went to TikTok to see the best way to apply my lil' pot of genius, and found that most people got the best results by patting it into their skin or in circular motions with their fingers.
I was worried I'd end up looking like I was participating in Shrek cosplay, but after a few seconds of patting it into my skin the green turned into a beige-toned cream.
🚨PSA: blend, blend, blend!🚨 If you are quite pale the cream does go a little more on the orange side once on the skin.
For the first time ever my skin looked more even, a lot less red, and I didn't feel the need to put a single drop of foundation on.
Before I fully committed to loving this product, I wanted to see just how long it would last and give me coverage throughout the day.
First check-in ⏱ – this was about an hour after I first applied the cream...
Once it got to the 5pm mark it was still going strong! ⏱
Then I realised after almost a full day of wear, it had turned slightly orange around my chin and jawline. ⏱
