We Tried Some Of The Best-Selling Beauty Products Under $15 From Amazon

Tried, tested, and approved — plus we've got the video to prove it.

Hi! I'm Elena and I spend a lot *A LOT* of time online shopping. It's my job. And the one thing I've learned, through my years and years on the shopping frontlines, is that the internet can't always be trusted.

So I asked my colleagues, Carolina and Vivian, to test out and document five of the best-rated, most popular beauty products I've written about through my "work" online shopping to see if they really live up to the hype. You can check out the full video documenting this journey on As/Is or keep scrolling for a breakdown of all the results!

First up, a jar of creamy Cetaphil Pro's Dermacontrol Purifying Clay Mask made with bentonite clay and designed to help those of us with big pores and sensitive skin — I'm not gonna lie, I am this mask's #1 hype man. I love it so much and it's really helped calm my skin down, but that's just me and I needed to know if other people felt the same way.

Turns out, I'm not the only one who loves this stuff! Carolina and Vivian shared my sentiments, and Carolina even picked it as one of her favorites from everything she tested out.

Next, we brought out a pack of Schick Silk Touch-Up facial and eyebrow razors that can help shape eyebrows, remove fine hairs, and smooth skin. These guys are always a top seller for us but I have to admit, just the idea of shaving my face is pretty intimidating. So let's make my colleagues the guinea pigs here. LOL!

The verdict? Pretty great! Not only was it easy to use but it wasn't scary at all! Vivian gave it a 10/10 while pointing out just how much hair it removes in the exfoliating process.

Up next, I asked them to try out the super-concentrated O'Keeffe's Healthy Feet Foot Cream which is touted as being great for anyone who is tired of dealing with cracked, dry heels.

The review photos of this foot cream are really OUT OF THIS WORLD (and kinda gross in the best way possible). So I figured going in that this stuff was legit, but Carolina really sold me when she pointed out how a callus on her foot basically disappeared after using it for just one night!

Then I had them try out a tube of Essence Lash Princess Mascara that claims to leave you with lashes that look so damn long people will think you're wearing falsies. It also has over SEVEN THOUSAND 5-star reviews on Amazon.

RING RING RING!! I think we have a winner with this one. BOTH Carolina and Vivian picked this bad boy as their number one, ultimate pick. Their excitement about this product is honestly contagious and at just under $5, it might just be the one thing you want to add to your cart.

And last but not least, we had them test out the MaxSoft Hair Scalp Massager, which is designed with silicone bristles to stimulate the scalp and give a pleasant, relaxing experience while you shower.

Carolina and Vivian have different hair textures, so we really wanted to see if something like this could work for both of them. And, yup! It totally can! Often times these "shower brushes" can leave your hair tangled and knotted but not with this guy. As long as you go in small, sectioned circular motions, you'll only be left with a relaxing massage. Ultimately both testers thought this product was a total treat but not a necessity.

There you have it, five tried and tested best selling beauty products living up to the hype.
