    1. A pack of organic and recyclable ethylene-absorbing BluApple packets to absorb the gases in your fridge that cause fruits and veggies to go bad.

    Amazon

Promising review: "In my drunken stupor, I purchased these thinking were ben wa balls. Boy was I wrong. But I'm so happy with my purchase because these keep my produce fresher for much longer than normal. Nothing is worse than buying red bell peppers at the store and having them start wilting after four days. These should be in everyone's fridges!" —The Waites

Get a pack of two from Amazon for $11.99.

    2. A very handy Instant Pot Magnetic Cheat Sheet Set filled with so much useful information — like, cooking times and liquid ratios — so you can make your favorite Instant Pot recipes even easier than before.

The Instant Pot Magnetic Cheat Sheet Set.
    Amazon

Promising review: "This certainly is a handy, organized way to check Instant Pot cooking references for various foods. The highlighted portions are a little bit too shaded to easily see the print beneath but overall is well thought out. The item came quickly, well-packaged. Didn't even know this type thing existed." —mew

Get it from Amazon for $7.99 (available in two sets).

    3. A pack of bedsheet suspenders so you can finally keep those pesky bed corners covered.

    Amazon

Promising review: "These are definitely worth the price. My significant other and I apparently run marathons in our sleep, so the fitted sheet and mattress pad came off the bed without fail. We own a double pillow-top mattress and they haven't stretched out while holding a fitted sheet, (that shrunk in the wash), plus two mattress pads. They hold them firmly to the bed with no slipping. No damage has been done to the sheets, either." —Michelle

Get a pack of four from Amazon for $12.99+ (available in standard and extra-long sizes, and in black, white, and pink).

    4. A versatile Katzco Furniture Repair Kit complete with six wood markers and six wax sticks all designed to match whatever wood your need fixed.

    amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "Despite our consistent efforts, it took almost a year to teach our new dog to not jump up on the back door. And as you can see in the first picture, he managed to do a lot of scratching. That's why I bought this marker kit, to repair those scratches. I used 'oak,' a lighter color, on the scratches. I did have to go over them again to completely cover them. That's what you see in the second picture, and it took me about 10 minutes total. I bought the kit with the wax crayons as I hoped to fill in the scratches too, I read in another review that it's possible but takes a lot of work. Unless I'm looking for the defects, I no longer notice the scratches (and mind you, these are at eye level) so this did the job I wanted." —P. Ratliff

Get a set of 13 markers and wax sticks from Amazon for $9.99.

    5. An adjustable multi-compartment lid organizer so you'll finally have a place to neatly store all your storage bin tops.

A variety of lids securely stored in the lid organizer.
    Amazon

Promising review: "This is a great caddy for all of those maverick Tupperware lids that disappear like socks in a laundry room. I was able to fit quite a few into it. It comes with five separators to cordon off different sizes/shapes of lids and consolidate two of three previous lids bins into this one. Plus, according to their card insert, the company is a small women-owned business, which I’m always happy to support." —Bridget D.

Get it from Amazon for $12.99+ (available in four sizes).

    6. A jar of clear Museum Gel — an adhesive gel designed to secure your belongings in place and protect them from any falls, it's also easily removable, reusable, and non-toxic. Plus, it won't stain or leave any marks.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "A little goes a long way and it works perfectly! We needed this for southern California's earthquake-prone geography and the glass art on glass shelves. We were able to affix the gel easily and everything stays put now. You can barely see the gel through the glass shelf. The amount you need is very small so I nearly have a full container left and I was able to attach all the items shown in this picture. I could have done 10-15 sets of shelves just like this." —Dennis & Karen Gunther

Get it from Amazon for $11.85.

    7. A genius little Aquapaw slow treat-dispensing mat so you can distract your pup while you clean 'em up — it easily sticks to any smooth service (like your shower tiles) and you just fill it with some PB.

    Amazon

Promising review: "We have a 30-pound lab mix rescue who hates water. Usually, she shakes and tries to escape the bathtub. With this product, she got distracted and stayed in place. We put peanut butter in it and froze it so that it would take longer. Having the nubs helps slow her down too. It stayed in place on our tub with the suctions. Basic product but works great." —book nerd

Get it from Amazon for $10.95.

    8. A roll of very handy window screen repair tape, a temporary (or not so temporary) way to repair small cuts or tears in your screen door without having to replace the whole thing.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "The mesh of the tape is slightly smaller than the mesh of my windows, so it doesn't blend in. But it's better than a hole and cheaper than replacing the screen and it still lets air through, so I am very happy." —Alara

Get it from Amazon for $9.99+ (available in two colors).

    9. A helpful copy of How Not to Kill Your Houseplant filled with the survival tips your favorite leafy friend needs to stay alive.

    Amazon

Promising review: "Really great guide to houseplants. I am an experienced outdoor vegetable gardener, who has never had much success with houseplants. The only one I've ever been able to keep alive is George, my un-killable Aspidistra (Iron Plant). Thanks to this book and the more detailed, but less cute, book Practical Houseplants I now have a little forest of air cleaning plants, succulents, retro '70s plants (rubber plant and Swiss cheese plant), and even two indoor banana trees — all healthy and happy. Even George is happier than ever, with new leaves." —Jo

Get it from Amazon for $11.89.

    10. A bottle of Optix 55 Fog Gone spray which can be used to help clear up the fogginess your glasses experience when you're wearing a mask — I actually do own this, and it works pretty well. The key is to make sure and gently rub it in with a lens cloth. From my experience, it doesn't stop your glasses from fogging but rather it makes the fog disappear SUPER quickly. You do have to use it every day and it's not 100% but it's WAY better than just going out there with nothing.

A customer review photo of them holding a bottle of Optix 55 Fog Gone spray
    amazon.com

Promising review: "I think I let the name hype up my expectations. I was expecting no fog at all. Afterthought I’m not sure if that would ever be completely possible. Instead with this spray applied my glasses will fog up and instantly clear up — the fog does not linger on my lenses. I’ve been using it at work and it works out I can still see the fog literally moves across my lenses and clears up. After using this spray for a few days I’m completely satisfied. I will say I work 12-hour shifts and I have to apply this spray twice throughout my shift, usually at the 10 hr mark. I do really like this spray." —JSnyder

Get it from Amazon for $10.55+ (available in three sizes).

    11. An adjustable back stretcher and lumbar support device capable of providing you with some serious relief from your back pain. It works by helping you get a safe and gentle back stretch through one of its four settings.

    Amazon

Promising review: "This device is incredible. I have a bulging disc and braces, and other types of back stretching never quite got it right for my lower lumbar region. I also have a shifted tailbone from the same injury and my back pain has subsided substantially after just a week of use for 10 minutes a day. I've even cut down on my intake of OTC pain relievers and noticed I've been sleeping better as well. It was difficult to get it set up, but with elbow grease and patience it worked out alright." —Kevin Newcomb

Get it from Amazon for $26.99.

    12. A double-ended extension chord, because sometimes you need two extension chords but only have one outlet to spare!

The double-ended extension cord in white.
    Amazon

Cords are 6 feet long and have three plugs each.

Promising review: "I have no idea why these are not sold everywhere. PERFECT for my room! I ended up getting this due to my king size bed being against a wall with only one outlet. I needed a way to connect my two lamps on my nightstand and this is absolutely, without a doubt, the very best solution to connecting my lamps and also not having all my outlets taken up. I recommend this to everyone! Also perfect for outlets connected to a switch to turn on and off both lights at the same time." —Ryan

The flexible extension cord wrapped around a ladder.
    Amazon

Promising review: "I have five of these cords now. They are the BEST thing ever. No more bending down low or trying to reach the outlet in the wall, from behind things. The plug is right there for you. I'm getting older, and have back issues, so these are SO wonderful and helpful for me. Love them. You can wrap them around pretty much anything and they stay! You will not be sorry with these. Get them for your parents/grandparents!! They will appreciate them!" —nancy

    14. A terra-cotta bear you simply place in water for 20 minutes and then put in your brown sugar to help maintain its moisture for up to SIX MONTHS.

The terra cotta bear next to a jar of brown sugar.
    Amazon

Promising review: "After multiple containers and continuously having to throw my brown sugar away due to giant hard lumps, I began to wonder why our brown sugar never lumped as a child. That's when I remembered a weird brown bear in our sugar, after a quick Google search I found this! I soaked it in water for 30 mins and then added to my lumpy brown sugar. Two days later there is not a single lump in my sugar! Yay! Note: it did turn any sugar that touched the bear a white color, but it tastes the same, still! :)" —Sneezeloaf

Get it from Amazon for $4.79.

A person breaking down ground meat with the chopper.
    Amazon

    Non-stick and dishwasher-safe.

Promising review: "I've been eyeing this same tool from Pampered Chef but it's so pricy I didn't want to take the plunge. When I found this one on Amazon and saw how much more reasonably priced it was, I decided to go for it. I've used it a few times since purchasing and it is awesome! Works just as well as I envisioned the pricier version to work and I love that it didn't cost an arm and a leg. I am happy that this comes in red as it matches the other kitchen tools and theme of my kitchen! Thanks for making cooking with ground meat so much simpler." —Genetics

    Amazon

Promising review: "I suck at doing my eyeliner and no amount of YouTube makeup tutorials can help me. But now that I have these handy little erasers, I don’t look like a failed smokey eye every day. You might be thinking, why not just use a makeup wipe instead? Or why not just soak and tip in remover? Well, because that doesn’t work as well. Trust me, I tried that too. These are great because they have a very fine pointed tip so the accuracy is great. Promising review: "After coming home from a long day at work and seeing that my wife left the hair straightener on while rushing to work — this plastic, magnificent thing probably prevented a fire in our apartment. Even though it was very hot, nothing burned! Not even the plastic holder itself! It does what it's supposed to do. It sticks to its surface and prevents fires from hair straighteners — proved it after sticking to the sink for over three months and not melting with a turned-on hair straightener from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. inside." —Emre

    20. A pack of bra strap clips to help hold everything in place and stop you from doing the grab for your sliding straps every 20 seconds.

A model wearing the bra strap clip in black.
    Amazon

Promising review: "Since I started using these clips, I haven't had to pull up my straps a single time! I used to have to pull them back up a dozen times a day. No more. Now I can put on my bra and then just forget that it is there. I don't notice any change in the fit of my bra. I wear a large cup size and the last thing I wanted was to add to that. However, with the straps fully extended on my bra, I find the fit to be essentially the same as before. The only difference is that the straps stay in place. If you've ever struggled to keep your straps up, you owe it to yourself to try this product." —K. Howe

    21. A bottle of Mavala Stop — a handy little formula that's bitter but totally harmless, so every time you put your hands in your mouth it tastes so bad that you won't want to do it again!

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "It's a miracle! I am 45 years old and have tried every product over the years — my mom used to put everything imaginable on my fingernails to keep them out of my mouth, my grandma tried to pay me to grow my fingernails out, but still, here I was at 45 with horrible nails. This has been a miracle. I can't describe the taste but will just say that it makes me not want my hands anywhere near my face. Yes, it is difficult to eat finger food with this on — I went to Florida recently and had to have my husband peel my shrimp for me. :-) But, it is a small price to pay to break this habit. Photos are before and two weeks after using this product. I know they aren't long and beautiful yet but they are beautiful to me :-) and the longest they have ever been in my life!" —Laurie S.

Get it from Amazon for $15.50.

The colander strainer filled with draining pasta over a pot.
    Amazon

It's also dishwasher-safe, heat-resistant up to 200 degrees C/392 degrees F, and works with fried foods.

Promising review: "I love this thing! It is quite sturdy and has no issues holding lots of ravioli, tortellini, or any other shaped pasta. One note, it does not do well with long spaghetti. It is also great for grabbing veggies out when I blanch them in water or chicken breasts I have poached. I was injured in an automobile accident and my hands are not in great condition. This has made having to use tongs for some things no longer necessary. It has also — totally — made lifting heavy pots full of liquid, unnecessary. Cooking is therapy for me and to find any tools which make it easier for me, is fantastic! I highly recommend this scoop to anyone needing a little help in the kitchen, or who just wants to not have to pull out strainers all of the time." —Kayce Cawthon McCarty

    The magnetic clasp converter.
    Amazon

Promising review: "I have a number of necklaces whose clasps are so tiny that I have trouble connecting them, so I was looking for magnets that would be strong enough to support a chain and pendant that were fairly valuable. This turned out to be a winner! I can sleep and shower with it on and never have to worry about it becoming detached. I actually have to tug a bit to get it to unlatch. Of course, I can't guarantee it will never come detached, but this more than filled my hopes for a magnetic clasp." —EDC

Get it from Amazon for $16.52 or try a handy little fastener that gives you that helping hand when you need it.

    26. A pack of fluorescent highlighters designed with a clear tip so you can see what you're highlighting and don't overshoot.

The highlighter being used on text.
    Amazon

Promising review: "I'm a highlighter junkie and I love these. The colors are pigmented enough to draw attention to it but not so much so that I can't read the font that I highlighted. It rarely, if ever, bleeds through paper. I usually avoid green and orange because they tend to be too pigmented and dark but the ones in this bunch are perfect. It also does not smudge and I'm very prone to that since I'm left-handed. I like the clear view part since it helps me see when I should stop highlighting, very precise." —Steph

Get a pack of three from Amazon for $3.97.

    27. A bottle of a very handy little drywall repair putty – it'll fix all those failed attempts to hang things and get you your security deposit back.

    Amazon

Promising review: "Does exactly what it says. Rather than getting spackel, waiting for it to dry, sanding it down, and tweaking as needed — this cuts the time/effort down! Just rub over the place in need of patching and wipe off the excess. The hardest part is not accidentally getting the product on parts of the wall that don’t need it, but that’s easy to clean up, so it’s not a problem. I used this to patch holes in the wall from a former Wi-Fi router and modem, other than the color difference from the patch to the paint, you’d never know it was patched. Great price, easy to use." —Amanda

Get it from Amazon for $10.95.

    28. A dishwasher-safe french fry holder that's made to fit into your cup holder — finally!! A way to devour every last french fry without having to dig through the bag or lose a man to the floor of your vehicle.

The French fry holder placed in the cupholder of a car.
    Amazon

Promising review: "I don't know how I ever lived without this product. Prior to obtaining this multi-purpose universal car french fry holder, my vehicle was a salty potato graveyard." —Chris Beckering

Get it from Amazon for $12.95.

    29. A pair of heel stoppers to keep your favorite shoes from sinking into the ground.

A heel stopper on a pair of high heels placed on gravel.
    Amazon

Promising review: "I, unfortunately, forgot to put these on my shoes for the outdoor ceremony and pictures. My heels sank into the grass and the heels also kept getting caught on my dress which was an intricate lace. Once I was back to the bridal suite, before heading back to the reception, I put these on and they worked fabulously. Not only did they prevent my heels from sinking into the ground, but they also protected my gown from the heels catching when I walked, which had been a huge unanticipated problem. They are slightly visible, but the delicate petal shape makes them pretty and unobtrusive. I absolutely recommend these and won't hesitate to use them in the future." —npview

Get them from Amazon for $9.99 (available in four sizes).

    30. An awesome little handheld milk frother that'll up your at-home coffee game to the next level — it can basically froth up any milky drink (even those with dairy alternatives)!

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "I did not know I needed this in my life. I saw a video of someone obsessed with the drink, London Fog (Earl Grey tea, vanilla, and milk), and she offhandedly mentioned you can easily make your own if you get a frother. At home, I mostly make different versions of drip coffee because frothers seemed so 'extra' until I got this! To put this little guy together, you do need two double-A batteries. It comes with a little stand. I made a very strong drip coffee (Blue Bottle Bella Donovan), warmed up whole milk in the microwave, stuck the frother in the middle of the milk, wiggled it around a bit, added three teaspoons of sugar (I like it sweet), and it was so good!!! So perfect. Plus the side of the box has a QR code with a link to some recipes, a coupon, and it automatically registers your warranty. Pretty awesome! I’m super excited for future matcha lattes and practicing latte art. Also! My coffee shop costs like $5 almost $6 for a latte, I’m lactose intolerant so every latte I have to pay 70 cents more. I just hate that! This will save me money and I get my cozy, caffeine fix in the comfort of my own home!" —RobinFromCalifornia

Get it from Amazon for $11.95 (available in 17 colors).

Actually, if you live anywhere with a massive public transport system then chances are you've seen total strangers' nail clippings flying about while they cut their fingernails (or even toenails, I've seen it all). How awesome would it be if they had one of these while they maintained their personal hygiene in a public space?

Promising review: "Clippers can be used for both finger and toenails. It requires very little pressure to cut even thick nails. The clippings are caught within the clipper and can be emptied after you are finished by shaking them out. The clipper is precision made and a padded metal case is provided. The opening is 2 mm. The excellent performance of the clipper is worth the higher cost." —Amazon Customer

    32. A handy little reminder that'll make sure you stay on top of feeding schedules.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "This was bigger than what we expected, maybe 5 to 6 inches tall, but honestly it isn't a big deal — it has solved the problem! One person can leave the house and the next person who is home knows whether or not the pooch has been fed. The sliders don't move on their own. I've included a photo so you can compare. Maybe I will get some of that removable tape and stick it to the wall, but for now it lays on a little table where we keep her treats, her feeding bowls are below it, so it worked out. Wish I would have bought this years ago!" —Shop Munki

Get it from Amazon for $9.95.

    33. A handy little in-car dip clip perfect for all the dinner parties you plan on hosting at your new favorite restaurant.

    amazon.com, amazon.com

    35. A pack of Bottle Bright for an all-natural, biodegradable, odor-free way to clean your water bottle.

    amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "Finished using it five minutes ago and it’s the best! My husband uses a Stanley thermos daily to take coffee to work. He tries to remember to rinse it out every day, but that doesn’t always happen. I got the package today, filled the thermos with water, dropped in a tablet, and let it sit. I promptly forgot about it for a few hours. Initially, I was disappointed when I dumped the water, as it was barely tinged brown. Then I put fresh water in, covered the top, shook it, and OMG. The crap that came out was disgusting, yet fascinating. I looked in the thermos and saw almost nothing but sparkly silver! There was a little crud left in the top third of the thermos, but it’s a really tall one, so I wasn’t surprised. Got the bottle brush, swished twice, and bam! All clean! No fumes, no smell, no nothing, just clean. I used to struggle cleaning it with baking soda, vinegar, the brush, soap, and elbow grease. Screw that. I will forever use only these tablets! Here’s to better tasting (and way less gross) coffee!" —BranchingOut

Promising review: "If you lose your ChapSticks a lot, I would highly recommend getting this holder. I love how I am able to grab my lipstick/lip balm/ChapStick, uncap, moisturize my lips, re-cap, and just let go. The retractable part is probably the best part because it makes it easy to get, and even easier to put away and not lose your ChapStick. This holder is perfect for people who travel and/or who are always losing their ChapSticks." —Mit's

    amazon.com

Promising review: "We have a 75 lb., 28-inch tall at the shoulders Goldendoodle with curly hair and large paws, and a brand new yard on the coast that is 95% sand. In the past three months, I've been wiping his paws ineffectively and spending most of my housekeeping time sweeping/vacuuming all the sand that he brings in and deposits on our hard floors. Our new veterinarian, upon hearing me whine about the situation, recommended I buy this product because she uses it with her own dogs. From the first time I used it, I was sold! It looks like one of those oversized water jugs you can get at a convenience store, with a fitted insert for paws and legs. I stuck my hand (and my kids') inside to try it out and the bristles inside are very soft, and will not hurt sensitive paw pads. The rubber piece at the top made it tricky to pull my hand out (it reminded me of the scene in Where The Red Fern Grows with the raccoon who gets its hand stuck in a log because it won't let go of a shiny piece of tin), but that's helpful in wringing some of the water off the furry paws. Our dog is used to having his feet handled many times a day and it only took a few minutes to teach him what we were doing. But if you have a dog who is jumpy/twitchy or doesn't like having its paws touched, this might not be the right product for you." —Heather

Promising review: "Works great until you misplace it, then you are back where you started. I should have ordered five of them. Then I might actually be able to find one when I needed it. I blame the house-elves. They love to hide stuff from me all the time, I look for something and can't find it and make do without and ten minutes later what I needed shows upright on the table or counter or someplace else in plain view where I had looked three times before. If anyone needs these elves send me your address and I will buy their bus ticket straight to your door!" —fairchild

    39. A no-buckle stretch belt that works just like a regular belt without the bulkiness of a clasp — because sometimes your pants need a belt but your outfit really doesn't call for it.

Promising review: "I have been looking for something like this for years! When I buy jeans I typically have to have them altered just a little. If I find a pair that fits my hips there’s always a big gap and it’s too big for my waist. Regular belts are very uncomfortable to me, they make this big pooch out to the front, and the buckle often makes holes in my shirts. This is perfect! It keeps my pants up making the fit perfect without adding more bulk to the front. I call this 'my girl suspenders!' I am definitely ordering another one and I recommend!" —Dina

    amazon.com, amazon.com

Promising review: "I was a bit skeptical when purchasing these gloves, but the reviews were excellent so I went ahead and bought them. I am so glad I did. I have small hands, but these gloves fit fine. Two things I really love about these gloves — water does not seep inside (a pet peeve of mine) and they are easy to get on and off repeatedly (second pet peeve is when you need to wait until the gloves dry to get your hands back in them). The gloves do an excellent job cleaning the dishes and kitchen. I have not used them to do other rooms in the house but will be purchasing another pair to tackle other cleaning jobs." —Babs

Promising review: "I wouldn't consider myself a 'wine connoisseur' by any means, but I typically have a bottle or so, float through my house each week. This wine corker takes the hassle out of pulling the original cork out, it is easy to clean, makes the wine taste better, and hello it's five bucks! It would make a GREAT cheap gift for a wine drinker. At the moment, I only have the one, but I'm planning to grab a few more to keep on-hand. :)" —jason lebeda

    Amazon

Promising review: "Loved this product. So easy to use. Everything is in one — no plug with pump. It stays on and keeps the bubbles in champagne and all carbonated wines. It does not pop off or leak if you lay the bottle back on its side in the refrigerator. It's metal and very strong. Love that you just need to pump the top to take out the air. Great for picnics and BYOBs. Plus it DOES NOT LEAK!" —C. Glidden

Promising review: "If you need a good laugh or know someone who does — order this book. The flow charts are funny, imaginative, and smart. It's difficult to pick my favorite charts because they are all so good but 'Should I go to law school or start a rock band?', 'Am I too old to be and this party?', and 'Should I listen to the voices in my head?' are among my favorites. Sequel please!!" —Marianne LaBatto

Promising review: "I was skeptical when I got this mixer. Could it be worth it? Yes, yes it can. Does the butter melt 12 times faster? Not that I could tell but it is noticeably faster. The mixer is easy to hold, had a large variety of mixing tools included. Very strong but not super heavy but feels solid. All the units parts, including the mixer itself, fit in an included clear storage container that locks in good. No more hunting in drawers for all the mixing tools anymore!" —pete c
