    1. A FlexiSnake drain cleaning tool to help in pulling out some of the most messed-up crap you've ever seen out of your drain.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "This little Flexisnake is magical!! After using bottles and bottles of Drano to try to unclog my bathroom sink, I found this little guy! Look at the hair and gunk?!?!?! Just ordered more of these babies!!!" —Sabrina

Get it from Amazon for $5.28+ (available in two styles).

    2. A box of cleaning cups for your Keurig that'll remove residue and rinse away coffee oils left by your favorite pods.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "Just pop it in and run about one reservoir of water through the system. It is blue but unclogs and does a great job of cleaning. When I used the white vinegar method I'd have to rinse it quite a few times to get rid of the vinegar taste in the water. I definitely recommend this to others. I believe it works in all systems that use the k-cup." —Brandi

Get a box of five pods from Amazon for $8.95.

    3. A concentrated-gel mold and mildew cleaner designed to get deep into your crevices and get rid of that ugly (and sometimes dangerous) buildup.

    Amazon

Promising review: "Follow the directions and it will work. On my first attempt I did not make a bead but spread it out thinly (trying to use as little as possible) and it didn’t work. The next time I made a bead and while it took two applications, it finally worked. It was amazing! I have tried for years to get rid of the mold in the caulking. I even replaced the caulking twice, but the mold would come back within a couple of weeks. For the first time in 10 years, the caulking around the top is clean, white, and free from any sign of mold. I tried it on a couple of other troublesome spots in the bathroom and kitchen, with the same results. Finally, a product that works on stubborn mold." —CLAUDE D'ESTREE

Get it from Amazon for $12.99.

    4. A deep-clean brush set that'll help scrub away every particle of dirt that's settled into all your nooks and crannies.

    amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "I love these little scrubbers! They get in every little crack and crevice that I can imagine!! The brushes are very sturdy, strong, and hold up to the many uses I've put them through. The rubber tip on the other end is very good at loosening stuck-on items. The handles are very easy to hold and the black grip seems to be very well made. I may order a second set in case these give out at some point because these have come in really handy for cleaning up many items. These are the best small brushes I have found!" —Rhonda Yedinak

Get a set of two from Amazon for $5.99 (available in orange and blue).

    5. A deep-cleaning, foaming garbage disposal cleaner, because that smell you can't seem to figure out is probably coming from your drain and that's just so gross.

    Amazon

Promising review: "Keeps my disposal fresh and clean! I love these little wonder packets because they keep my disposal from getting stinky, and then really power through the gunk down there to keep it running smoothly. Highly recommend over similar products because the foaming action bursts through your pipe on the other side of your sink and really cleans things out." —Amanda Prince

Get a pack of four from Amazon for $6.40.

    6. A dishwasher cleaner capable of getting deep down in there to dissolve and remove odor-causing residue, get rid of lime and mineral buildup, and basically make your dishwasher look and work like new.

    amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "These tablets work great. I was having an issue with my dishwasher leaving a lingering odor after I ran a wash cycle and it was driving me crazy. Running one of these tabs monthly completely eliminated that issue." —E. F.

Get a pack of six tablets from Amazon for $5.96.

    7. A cooktop cleaning kit complete with everything you need that'll get rid of grease, stubborn stains, and burnt- or baked-on messes.

    Amazon

Promising review: "Let me say this — there is nothing out there that can clean your electric cooktop surface better than this! PERIOD! If you have an electric stove, please do yourself a favor and just buy this. I use a regular paper towel to do the cleaning and no matter how dirty, messy, stained, or greased the stovetop gets, this will make it BRAND NEW every single time!" —ItsJustBlah

Get the kit which includes: 10 oz. bottle of Cerama Bryte Cooktop Cleaner, a cleaning pad, and scraper from Amazon for $10.99.

    8. A restorative wood polish that uses beeswax to help bring life and luster back to any wood surface — floors, tables, legs...whatever!

    amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "This product is worth every penny and goes a very long way. We had tired, oak floors that haven’t been refinished in over 50 years. They were dried out and washed out. This product took away decades in an hour with a few rags and a lot of elbow grease. One word of caution, floors are very slippery for a few days after. Be very careful walking around. Bonus, it smells amazing. It has a natural orange peel smell that is fresh and clean and not at all harsh or chemical. Highly, highly recommend." —GMD

Get it from Amazon for $8.04+ (available in four sizes).

    9. A plant-based stain remover capable of breaking down the most stubborn, caked-on, basically permanent, stains your furniture and clothes have ever seen.

    amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "A tenant left some blood stains on this mattress and a heating pad about 20 years ago. They were totally dry when we found them. Not knowing what to do, we put the mattress aside for 20 years until we found this product. Tested on the pad first. I sprayed a whole bottle on the pad, left it in a bathtub all night. Then washed the pad in the tub. The pad looks new after it is dried, even cleaner than when it was new! Wow! Then the real challenge, the mattress. With experience from cleaning the pad, I decided to use the solution much more efficiently. Here is the improved process: 1) Spray a little solution on the stained area. Make sure the stained area is soaked, but not too deeply. 2) Cover the soaked area with a piece of paper towel. I found it absorbs the stain very well. 3) Spray a little more solution onto the paper towel. This is for keeping the stain moisturized. These enzymes do not work under dry environments. 4) Cover the stained area and the paper towel on it with a piece of plastic film, which is normally for preserving food. Again, I did this to keep the stained area wet. The second morning, I removed everything from the mattress, used more paper towels to absorb the mess. And then, I used a clean car washing towel and cold water to clean up the remaining mess. Washed the towel and cleaned up again. Repeated three to four times, the mattress became very clean! No blood stain remains! Never imagined it could remove 20-year-old bloodstains." —nusaco888

Get it from Amazon for $12.48.

    10. A power scrubber that uses 60 scrubs per second to get surfaces squeaky-clean, so you don't have to break a sweat.

    Amazon

Promising review: "I just spent two hours scrubbing the ceramic tile floor in my second bathroom. This is a room where my elderly, incontinent cat lives so...use your imagination. I leave pee pads and towels down, but she still does her thing. I clean her room consistently, and every few months I do a heavy-duty scrubbing by soaking the floor and start scrubbing. It takes hours because I can't get the corners well, and the grout is such a pain to clean. Well, this product is amazing. I used this for the grout lines and corners. It was amazing. It got gunk and grime off the grout that has been there for years (I haven't resealed this floor since it will have to be taken out when the cat dies). I even used these to scrub the cabinet doors, around the toilet, etc. and they were really, really great. you have to put the right amount of pressure on the brush, but once you do it's *wonderful.* See how stupid I feel, writing such a glowing review for this? I swear I wasn't endorsed, I wish they would pay me to test products after this! My bathroom is cleaner than it has been in years, and in less time than it's ever taken me to deep clean it." —None

Get it from Amazon for $15.99.

    11. A toilet-rim edge brush with a curved head so it can reach those hidden crevices of your toilet.

    Amazon

Promising review: "These brushes really do a good job of getting under the toilet rim. Our house was built with four Vortens brand toilets. They seem to grow black, yukky moldy stuff under the rim. These little brushes reach under there and clean out this unsightly mess. Buy these brushes. Don't buy a Vortens toilet." —Phillip J. Braden

Get a pack of two from Amazon for $6.99.

    12. Or try a 100% natural pumice stone toilet bowl cleaner that'll scrub away any rust or lime buildup on your porcelain throne.

    amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "We rented a home and the toilets were disgusting. Someone suggested a pumice stone and let me tell you, it was amazing!! The picture is after just five minutes with the stone. I tried bleach, every toilet bowl cleaner available, and countless hours of scrubbing to no avail...but this stone worked instantly! I will be buying several more!! The stone does dissolve when scrubbing so you need a couple. I was able to do almost two toilets that looked awful completely with one stone!!" —CristaCross

Get it from Amazon for $8.23.

    13. A pack of three nylon brushes you attach to your drill for a super scrub you never knew was possible.

    amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "Used this to clean the bilge of our boat! it was very dirty in a bad way. They have already paid for themselves four times over. A drill was too slow for this project, so I used my driver and it was a perfect combo. A great buy for great quality." —K KIDD

Get it from Amazon for $14.95+ (available in six bristle types).

    14. A handy little hair-removing drain cleaner that'll clear out your pipes and make sure they don't get clogged.

    amazon.com, Amazon

Promising review: "I am honestly disturbed at the string of hair and goo that just came out of my shower drain. I have been trying to clear my drain for months, frequently pouring several pots of boiling hot water because I could not stop water from collecting at the bottom of my shower. I had tried other similar products to remove hair from the drain or collect it before it drained, but nothing worked. None of the drain snake type products would fit down my drain. I started getting residue at the bottom of my tub because the water wasn’t draining quickly enough, which was pretty gross and slippery. The boiling water trick only worked for a day or two at a time. I was afraid to use caustic products because I heard that they could expose leaks in the pipes, and I have an older home. After using the Green Gobbler hair grabber, my only concern now is how much I feel like a creature knowing that I apparently shed more than my boyfriend’s dog and have been collecting goo in my drains that was probably mixed into the water sitting in the bottom of my tub while I showered. This is the best product that I’ve bought in a long time that was less than $2. I would definitely recommend this product! Please excuse the gnarly image. Unfortunately, there was more." —Amazon Customer

Get a pack of five from Amazon for $5.99.

    15. An electronics cleaning brush with soft, retractable bristles to gently sweep away dust from small, hard-to-reach places (or to be worn as an accessory by your small pet).

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "This is a must-have product for cleaning electronics. It is versatile enough to work in many different applications. It is gentle enough to avoid cosmetically damaging delicate electronics that other brushes can easily scratch. And it is precise enough to work well in applications where one needs a tool of precision that is capable of reaching difficult or small areas. At about the length of your average-sized pen, and about the thickness of a highlighter, this brush is compact." —ZapNZs

Get it from Amazon for $4.95.

    16. A gap-cleaning brush perfect for that area in your window that literally never gets cleaned — you know, the place where flies go to die.

    Amazon

Promising review: "Works perfectly. It gets every piece of dirt and grime easily and fits into every little crevice. Then I use a handheld vac to get rid of the debris." —Carrie Re

Get it from Amazon for $5.98.

    17. A cordless hand vacuum equipped with a crevice tool for those hard-to-reach areas and a flip-up brush for all of your upholstery.

    Amazon

Promising review: "We just got this and already love it. The crevice tool gets into the tracks on sliding doors and the brush helps those occasional accidents when all the ash doesn't get tapped into the ashtray. This is easy to use and the attachments are built-in so you won't lose them. The clean-up is simple too." —Dave

Get it from Amazon for $35.99.

    18. A washing machine cleaning powder to help kill that odd smell and kinda gross buildup that can happen inside your appliance.

    Amazon

Promising review: "Washer started smelling a bit funky several months after we got it. I didn't understand why I couldn't just run bleach through my machine to clean it out occasionally until I actually ran one of these tablets. The key is that the tablet goes in the washer drum and doesn't dissolve right away. So as the washer runs through several repeated cycles of fill, agitate, and drain — the tablet is still there, sudsing up the water. Also, this gets very sudsy and that probably helps it reach some areas of the machine that wouldn't otherwise get touched." —aberson

Get a pack of five from Amazon for $9.98.

    19. A steam cleaner for a completely chemical-free way to clean hard surfaces with no harmful fumes or residue.

    Amazon, amazon.com

Promising review: "This is a cleaning machine like nothing I've ever used before. It's amazing to see the dirt, grease, and caked-on spills just melt away. It's really helpful to get that cleaning steam in every nook, cranny, edge, and corner on everything that needs to be cleaned. You can get that steam into tiny crevices that simply do not always get reached with rags." —MB

Get it from Amazon for $39.99.

    20. A 3.5-foot extendable tile and tub scrubber, because it's never a good idea to put a step stool in your shower — doesn't matter how desperate you are to clean it!

    Amazon

Promising review: "This is my best friend when I'm cleaning the shower. Its design lets me get into all the cracks and crevices. I even use it on my shower glass with some Windex. Everything comes out extra clean." —MiamiLadyLiving

Get it from Amazon for $12.99.

    21. A box of Mr. Clean Magic Erasers so you can finally, FINALLY clean out your microwave!!! (A parade will be held in your honor at a later date.)

    Amazon

Promising review: "I have a teeny tiny toddler who constantly makes messes. I generally pick one day a week to deep clean and I will use the entire thing up. I start with wiping down the walls in my living room (crayon or pen marks) then wipe down my son's big toys, then I will wipe down the cabinet doors in the kitchen, and wipe down the windows and bookshelves. I finish by scrubbing down the shower and by the time I clean the toilet it's used up and ready to be thrown away." —MichiokoXIII

Get a box of four from Amazon for $4.94.

    22. A straight-up magical oil stain remover capable of getting the toughest, baked-on grease stains out of your concrete floors and driveways.

    amazon.com

Promising review: "Changed the oil on my girlfriend's car and some oil spilled on my NEW driveway...which I didn't notice 'til four days later. No good deed goes unpunished and I knew I was screwed. Read everything from using soap and water to small animal sacrifices to try to get out the oil — but they all ended saying the same thing, 'nothing really works.' Four spots all about the size of a dollar bill baking in the Arizona sun for four days. Found this searching on Amazon and I thought $8, whatever. That's one less vodka soda tonight for dinner. Put the stuff on (sits on the stain like pancake batter — don't be afraid to pour liberally) and let it sit from 6 p.m. 'til about 9 a.m. the next day. It dried and the instructions said to just sweep the stuff up (right, like I am not going to need a scraper and wire scrub pad for an hour. HA). Well it broke apart with the broom and the stains were gone, just swept up the powder pieces — took about a minute. I WAS SHOCKED! Something that actually works on oil and it's easy. Absolutely NO sign of anything that was there. My driveway is smooth concrete so I can't vouch for what would happen with a rougher surface but whoever makes this stuff is a genius. If they tried to take on World Peace, Earth would be a better place." —AmazonBob

Get it from Amazon for $13.97.

    23. A pack of heavy-duty multi-surface cleaning wipes for help getting those gross and messy spills without any water.

    Amazon

Promising review: "The best darn wipes for kitchen cleaning ever. Do you have grease? They take it down. Do you have splatter? They'll cut through it like a knife. Did you spill butter? How dare you. But they'll clean that too. I recommend wiping the surface down with something else first and using these to get that hard-to-reach gunk. They are thin, so don't expect them to act like a washcloth. These are the finishers. These make it shine." —Mr. Black

Get a pack of two containers with 40 wipes each from Amazon $11.18.

    24. A screen-cleaning kit, because the amount of filth hanging out on your phone and computer screen is really out of control — really, really out of control.

    Amazon

Promising review: "I'm a grad student. I live on my laptop. I work on my laptop. I eat over my laptop. I quickly try to do my makeup and hair over my laptop. I hurriedly attempt to edit thesis chapters on grimy public transit with my laptop. As a result of all this, my laptop is an unholy crud-encrusted atrocity by the end of the week. I will not even describe its supreme grodiness here lest you, dear reader, grow too disgusted to continue reading this needlessly wordy review I'm typing up to postpone the further editing of said thesis. It's pretty bad. In any event, this stuff is a godsend. I've tried other products to make my laptop look vaguely respectable, but they tend to leave streaks, fail to despeckle the harder specks from my screen, and make little headway with regards to the greasy blotches so many not-well-thought-out late fast-food runs have left on my keys. This product, though, gets my computer clean and pleasant looking to the point where I am only slightly embarrassed to haul it around as though it was some extension of my person. I use it on pretty much all of my devices now, and even though I'm not the sort of person to particularly care about the "naturalness" of a cleaning product, I'm glad to have something on hand that isn't scented and probably won't destroy things I spill it on." —Leah Davydov

Get the kit (which includes a microfiber cleaning cloth and cleaning solution) from Amazon for $19.95.

    25. A pack of coffee machine cleaning tablets designed to get into the crevices of your machine and clean out all that gunk you normally couldn't reach yourself.

    Amazon

Promising review: "It definitely makes a difference in the taste of the coffee after cleaning my coffee pot with Affresh. Coffee tastes much better. I will be adding this to my subscribe and save." —LVM

Get a pack of four from Amazon for $4.99.

    26. A scratch-free scraper that'll easily help you remove any stuck-on messes without damaging whatever it is that's covered in the mess.

    Amazon

Promising review: "This is the greatest cleaning tool invented! I love it! I had tried every tip to get rid of the hard-water buildup around my sinks and this little gizmo gets rid of it in a breeze. Everyone should have one. So simple and so brilliant." —Debra J.

    Get a two-pack from Amazon for $6.99.

    27. A set of microfiber dusters: one that can bend to fit into oddly shaped and positioned locations, one that extends for those hard-to-reach dust magnets, and a small one for all those hidden corners you normally just ignore.

    Amazon

Promising review: "Everyone should have these in their house. They are great quality and make it convenient to reach those hard-to-reach spaces." —C. Reid

    Get a three-pack from Amazon for $25.97.

    28. A machine-washable microfiber blinds duster to make sure you get every last slat clean.

    Amazon

Promising review: "Nothing makes cleaning blinds 'easy' but this little gadget gets them clean as a whistle, although it is still long and laborious doing a 4’ x 6’ set of blinds. I live in Arizona and the blinds get this hardened, laminated dust so they are tough to clean. Found a five-step way to make them look like new: 1) make a pass with the vacuum to remove loose dirt 2) soak one of the microfiber sleeves with Windex and make a pass (rinse and renew often cause it gets nasty) 3) let them dry 4) soak another of the sleeves in Pledge furniture polish and make a pass 5) use a clean and dry sleeve to make a polishing pass. Took me 32 minutes from start to finish for a 4’ x 6’ blind set. You can renew the string pulls with a squirt of Clorox cleaner with bleach." —AZ Wildcat

Get it from Amazon for $7.99.

    29. A lightweight, all-in-one window washer complete with a squeegee and washer for the cleanest, streak-free windows in your neighborhood.

    Amazon

Promising review: "I love this product. I use it on my sliding glass doors and it makes it easy to clean with minimal effort. I squirt a Windex/water mixture heavily on the windows then use the soft part to remove all the dirt and dog nose prints. Then I squeegee it off and get sparkling clean results. This cuts my window cleaning time in half." —Alyce

Get it from Amazon for $12.20 (and get the extension rod from Amazon for $10).

    30. A fluffy ceiling-fan duster that extends nearly four feet so you can reach all the way up in there without a chair or ladder.

    Amazon

Promising review: "I was debating buying one of these blade ceiling-fan dusters. The price versus value with this item is amazing! I use this duster for everything! I dust my walls, ceiling crevices, my 2" blinds, and more! This duster basically scrubs the caked-on dust right off. For the price, you can't beat it!" —Alice Bridge

Get it from Amazon for $10.99.

    31. A grout brush to get the joints in your tiles and natural stone coverings so clean you could serve dinner on them.

    Amazon

Promising review: "Great little brush. I was desperate to get the grout clean and had tried everything. This was just what I needed. It made my shower look new again. The grout in my shower is extra deep, so this was perfect to get in there and clean it out. Made it super easy too!" —Tracy

Get it from Amazon for $12.95 (available in five colors).

    32. A dryer vent brush, because if you don't clean your vents, not only will it take your laundry forever to dry, but it could be a fire hazard — and as Smokey Bear basically says, "only you can prevent [dryer] fires."

    Amazon

Promising review: "Great little tool to give you peace of mind. When I empty out our lint trap I alway question if a bunch of lint fell off into the dryer. This little guy keeps all that runaway lint in check. I would def. buy again if needed." —Christine

Get it from Amazon for $5.78.

    33. A microwave cleaner so you don't have to leave a passive-aggressive note to your coworkers about the mess they left — à la Pam Beesly.

    Amazon

Promising review: "Super easy to use. I'm not a messy person and my microwave isn't extremely dirty, but I've always had remnants stuck to the top and sides that I couldn't scrub off. First time I used it and my microwave (which is now about 10 years old) looks practically new again." —J. Anthony

Get it from Amazon for $6.86+ (available in three colors).
