Ever since I watched my very first episode of The Jetsons I've dreamt of welcoming someone like Rosie into my family — she's smart, helpful, and a freakin' robot!! What more could a kid want?

Fast-forward to today and my recent acquisition of an Amazon Echo Spot. Much like Rosie, this little semi-sphere is a delightful device that does so many amazing things that even after nearly six months of use, I still don't know everything it's capable of.

The Echo Spot lets you watch videos, see music lyrics, weather forecasts, read to-do and shopping lists, make phone and video calls, and listen to audiobooks —all totally hands-free. Just say the magic words: "Alexa..." You can even ask Alexa to turn on your lights, show baby monitors and front-door camera views, and lock your doors. Plus, you can control your thermostats, garage doors, sprinklers, and like a million other things! There are thousands of skills you can access — for instance, did you know you could ask Alexa to get you an Uber or order a pizza? I KNOW! Anyway, I could go on and on, but chances are you aren't even reading this anymore. All you need to know is that this device is capable of some seriously amazing things!

It's pretty freakin' awesome, and I'm not the only one who thinks so! Reviewers everywhere are singing its praises — and it's even made certain fruit lovers change their tune.
